Can you at least pretend to try and keep up? The comment was made that "certain people" were allowed to lie to congress in addition to Fauci. I didn't invoke the whataboutisim, I expanded upon it.

Additionally, it was Trump that thrust Fauci into the national spotlight. Trump propped him up until he didn't toe his partisan line with his narrative and then tried to scape goat his shi**y response on him. Thanks for asking though.

Pointing out the indisputable fact that several people have recently perjured themselves in front of congress without repercussions while others have been charged is not "whataboutism".

Ironic that you'd point out that trump wasn't subpoenaed after ducking Congresses' request for him to appear as a technicality and then immediately launch into a tirade about "indisputable facts" of perjury for 'other' people who A) had the nuts to testify and B) who haven't been charged with the crime that you've convicted them of.

Maybe instead of griping about people getting away with "something", you should recognize that your sheets aren't exactly clean.

The only one launching into a tirade is you.

Trump didn't "duck" anything, if congress wanted him to testify they could have subpoenaed him and he wouldn't have had a choice. Some of the ones I'm referencing about lying to congress didn't have "the nuts" to testify, they were subpoenaed. And in any case your argument (as usual) hold no water since Trump did not perjure himself before congress others did and it doesn't matter whether they were there voluntarily or were forced, they still perjured themselves and were never held accountable.

He was scared to testify because he knew he'd be asked questions he didn't want to answer under oath. I refuse to believe you're refuting this with a straight face.

"He" is was a servant of the United States, truth and justice for the citizens are most peoples concerns. It's no surprise that Donny was leveraging his personal interests above that of truth or that you'd excuse it.

He not only refused congresses power of inquiry, he also directed other administration officials to refuse.

Either way, he was impeached anyway. Twice.

Probably a reason why 81M voters turned out to throw him out.

Sure they could have, that's on them. Still doesn't change the fact that he ducked their request and instructed others to as well - but you know, Congress getting the truth only matters when it's a Dem. Hell, even Hillary had the guts to face a very hostile congress over Bengahzi.
