Fauci-gate

Would anyone put it past a communist dictatorship, like China, to engineer a virus which selectively killed the aged, unhealthy population? They are a drain on resources, after all.
I wouldn't go that far because there is too much of a risk of collateral damage. You may kill just as many of your own as you would others... esp. if that thing starts to mutate and move across the populations and form variants.

I think it was an accidental outbreak.

Riiiiiiiight. "Accidental"

Interesting.
I'm beginning to waver on this slightly because I can't explain why Fauci was not passionate enough about trying as many experimental treatments (HCQ) as possible in order to save face. I would be open to any treatment that would be within reason if I were in his shoes, yet he seemed to doubtful about the effectiveness of most of these alternative methods (outside of experimental vaccines).

All about the $$$, not about saving lives. No money in generic drugs.

I posted a couple links a day or so back about an study on hydroxychloroquine, it found it effective.

Did he become a crony capitalist pawn? He apparently had conversations will Bill Gates who has ties to one of the pharmaceutical companies. I haven't dug into the full relationship.

Yep I guess that is why uncle Joe did away with the price breaks on insulin and Epinephrine that Trump had implemented. Nothing like pay a few dollars for a 1930's no patent drug like insulin when you can pay 2021 prices of several hundred dollars.

These people are evil...No telling how many deaths because of nursing homes, demoninzing HQC. And to think they would not cheat to get Trump out. Anything to oust him and discredit in the pursuit of money and power.

Checking in to see if ya'll still lathered up at The Faucinator.

No need to answer, I'll check back again next week.

I am sure you still think he has a legitimate voice and opinion on the subject of Covid...Carry on... What's hilarious to me is that what was considered "conspiracy theory" 6 months ago is now common knowledge and yet so many people act like this is no big deal at all and try to pretend that there's nothing to see here.

53% of Republicans believe that Trump is the "true President". The right wing has cornered the market on
group think.
That is one of the dumbest posts I’ve seen. In a forum with Tasty, Bay, and others that’s no small feat! Republicans are guilty of group think because half believe one thing and the other half don’t. That’s hilarious! You clearly didn’t think that one through.

Clearly you are the person who did not think this one through because you obviously have no idea what groupthink is or how detrimental it is in practice. It has nothing to do with half believing one thing and the other half believing something else as you suggest, it is when the consensus of a group makes an irrational decision due to their lack of critical thought. In this case, literally tens of millions of Republicans have made an asinine decision that Trump is the "true President" based on a lie - so, yes, they have cornered the market on groupthink as well as stupidity.

For future reference, the dumbest posts on this forum can be found in the Qanon thread, or pretty much anything you have ever posted.

So like electing a senile old man that has done nothing in 50 years of being an elected official and expecting him to fix our problems? Is that a good example?

Yes. Stupid people can have a consensus. This would be great example.

It's good to see that you've come to terms that he was, in fact elected.

No, terrible example because Biden was running against a corrupt, lying, anti-American POS. Therefore it was a rational decision.

I think the point is they wanted to kill their own aging and weak. I agree with the collateral damage assessment.

Corrupt, maybe. Lying, probably. Anti-American, no way! Only someone who has never studied the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and the Bill of Rights would believe that.
And the Biden was your nominee is the main issue of rational.
