Fauci-gate

Had he take the microphone away from Fauci he would have been crucified by the media and other Fauci worshippers. He was stuck.

He did make it apparent many times he didn’t agree with Fauci’s assessments.
Did a strong leader care that someone might say something mean about him? He gave in to Fauci because he had no idea what else to do. They both screwed us

I think there is plenty of blame to go around, that's for sure. But it always ends up at Fauci knowingly lying to the American people. Should media have designated sainthood upon him? No. Worse yet, should lawmakers have placed his sainthood as an agenda piece? No. But I still ends up at him lying. Not simply discovering new data or information but lying with purpose to mislead.

Or you could just explain how it's reaching. Do you think a govt official lying and causing great harm has immunity?
I'll explain but you're gonna feel kinda silly.
The half sentence I put in bold from your post is a reach.

Very easy to say that in retrospect. But if Fauci would have stayed on the science and what he was thinking behind the scenes on these emails, there would have been no problems. The issue is that right around the end of March or early April of 2020, it became evident that he was pandering to the media. Had Trump pulled him off the stage, we all know that the media would have then portrayed Fauci as a martyr and he would have still been given a mic by the CNNs and ABCs of the world.

Oh no, I guess he shouldn't have done the right thing then!

What else is new? I thought the whole point of Trump was that he didn't care about what the media said?

Trump should have never given the mic to Fauci, once he did he was screwed.

One person was responsible for putting Fauci in that position. Evidently he was too scared of mean words to make a change and provide leadership. We paid the price

So Fauci acting in an official capacity and causing harm by knowingly lying isn't an issue? That lets Cuomo off too I guess
Cuomo was never in any danger whatsoever. I'll bet his book deal let's him retire very comfortably as well.

.... and he killed more New Yorkers than Mohammed Atta.
