Decruex,

I have always wondered about how Trish Roberts would fare in todays game.
I became a fan shortly into year 2+. Holly who has a retired jersey if projected into 2013 was neither a great shooter nor fast enough for today's game. But she had more energy than the players of her day.

As much fun as it is to compare today's athletes and teams to those of the past it can't be done for the purpose of determining superiority...metrics, AKA measurable s are evolving, improving as is all processes and areas of concentration, IE business, commerce, science....

I really liked watching Shannon Bobbit play! Candice Parker may have been the star of those teams but Bobbit was the "QB" of those teams! Without Bobbit, we don't win those championships, FACT!

I agree that Bobbitt was fun to watch and the 'QB' of the team but its NOT a fact that without her we wouldn't have won title....again you may be right but its not a fact...facts can be proven using data or.....facts....

I have to agree the way the question was asked. Not the greatest player ever, but my favorite to watch especially bringing the ball up the court. It's Michelle Marciniak.

the list of great women basketball players for the Lady Vols is way to long,to pick one out,I've watched them for many a year, but they all had one thing in common, being coached by the legend,Pat Summit, that is why i picked her

Can't help but mentioning that watching Lisa Harrison's shooting form and release was as refreshing as swallowing ice water on a sizzling summer day.

Watching Lisa Harrison was refreshing, shooting or not...

Michelle Marciniak was my all-time favorite, though. The way she ended her career sealed it. She simply would not let that team lose.

Candace Parker.

I also liked glory johnson, as we went to the same HS. I never actually met her.

Back when I was at UT there was a shooting guard named Tiffany Woosley (who was from Shelbyville I believe) that everybody thought was really pretty. I used to see her around campus a lot and she seemed really down to Earth and was a much better player than Brittany J, Ace Clement and some other players obviously named on here just for their looks.

The question is Favorite all time Lady Vol? Not who is the better player. There can be any number of reasons a certain player is chosen depending on who is deciding and what criteria they choose to use.

This. I just wish she had a daughter just like her so we could have Spinderella part 2.
