While I can't say it's a favorite (because we lost the game), Travis Stephens' 70 some-odd yard TD off a screen pass vs. Georgia in 2001. Georgia was in a super-prevent defense, they knew it was coming, and he still scored. One of the most amazing plays I've ever seen, and nobody has it on YouTube because we lost. Saw it that day in the stadium, and have never seen it since.

William Howard vs Auburn '85. Just a simple off-tackle play except that his helmet was ripped off as he went through the hole. He then LOWERED his head and ran over two more Tigers. Earned my undying respect then and there.

Also, although it covers multiple plays, Jimmy Noonan (one of the baddest men EVER to wear Orange) put no less than three Oregon State centers out of the game in 1977.

Actually, it is available for your viewing pleasure. To be precise, it was a 62-yd. touchdown pass and run. Fast forward to about the 2:00:00 mark of this video clip: Georgia vs. #6 Tennessee 2001 - YouTube .

Kills me how badly our defender was beaten on that play...Deon came out of nowhere to save his a$$.

This was the first UT game I ever attended. The Deon Grant pick was otherworldly. He was nowhere near the receiver, and then all of a sudden you see this guy like flying through the air. Even more amazing than the fact that he got to the ball is the fact that (a) he caught it and (b) he landed without ever breaking stride.

Dude was an amazing athlete, and one could form that conclusion even without seeing the nasty nasty dunks he would throw down at HPER in the spring. But I actually do remember seeing those. And they were straight filthy.
