Favorite Race Car

I miss tobacco sponsorship!

BAR Honda 006, from 2004. I think this was the peak for the team, despite the win in 2006. 2004 was such a good year for them. Ferrari was so bullet proof.

Okay did they really put BARf1 on the front :)

The most advanced race car of it's time, most dominant car of any series I know of. Porsche 917/30 Can-Am driven by Mark Donahue, in Penske livery.

Easily one of the best cars of all time is missing from here, very disappointing...

Too great to hate...

When it won Le Mans last year, you couldn't of found a happier person on the planet than me. Tommy Milner proved he was a legend in the making. BEAST!

It may have been the beginning of the end for Astons protoype projects but it still sounded like a bag of wasps and looked so good that my eyes hurt just looking at it... RIP DBR 1-2

Now for some old school!!! It's ofcourse the Matra Simca with my many Henri at the wheel, I would have given an arm and a leg to watch it race...

A picture of my late Auntie Jan was on the back of this when it raced at Le Mans last year. Great team, great car.

Although it is likely to never race again. :(

Sweet! Sounds much better than those original U2 Mazdas in IMSA. They were just ungodly loud. My favorite was Kudzu Racing. Also liked the RX-7s that ran in GTU, one was campaigned by Al Bacon, a local dentist in Kingsport who won class at Daytona once. My company sponsored him.

I have seen that beautiful Mazda drive around Le Mans, absolutley unforgettable hearing the noise of that thing.

The louder the better IMO. That's what got me hooked on racing. I worked at a place about a mile from Nashville's fairground racetrack. The sound of the Late models turning practice laps absolutely got me hooked. I remember going there and watching the slim Jim all pro series event there, and as soon as the green flag waved saw a few people with a dumbfounded look on their faces leaving while covering their ears with both hands. I very badly want to go to Bristol, and hear the Sprint cup guys battle it out. Everyone says it's the loudest track on the circuit (which I'm sure you can attest to). How hard is it to get tickets, or should I just try and get Nationwide tickets?
