The skill players are similar but I think there's a little bit of a talent gap in the trenches.

There's more than a little bit of a gap. There is no team including USC that has talent in the trenches like the SEC. Now I've been for the 'SC guys but their D-Linemen are so overrated and they do nothing in the pros.

This is woefully incorrect.

Shaun Cody. Some of their drafted guys are too young to tell yet, like Sedrick Ellis, Lawrence Jackson, etc.

Are you serious dude? What ever happened to the Wild Bunch? And what about Mike Patterson and etc.? You can try to compare but there is no conference that can get you ready to play at the next level like the SEC.

You are surpremely dense.

Where did Tom Brady go to college?
Troy Polamalu?
Carson Palmer?
LaDainian Tomlinson?
Adrian Peterson?
Julius Peppers?
Matt Ryan?
Ray Lewis?
Ed Reed?
Dwight Freeney?
Trent Edwards?
Steve Hutchinson?
Orlando Pace?
Jonathan Ogden?
Shawne Merriman?
Chad Ochocinco?
Mario Williams?

The SEC blind homerism is sickening. It's the deepest conference, but to say it is head and shoulders above is retarded.

I didn't say you couldn't play at the next level coming from another conference. I said no other conference gets you ready like the SEC. But are you from Cali or stay in Cali?

That's horsesh**. If you can play, you are going to get drafted. All of the BCS conferences are pretty much equal talent-wise. Hell, if you play in Canada, and you are good, you will get drafted.

Dude seriously do you think any other conference puts more stress on a player's body week in and week out?

Big 12
Big 10
Pac-10
ACC

This is a laugher. Big 12- soft as tissue. It's funny if the suckeyes hadn't choked the Big-12 wouldn't have won a game.

Big 10- while being physical it's not as violent week in and week out as the SEC.

ACC- need I say more than they are great in Basketball.

Pac-10- one word WOW. How'd they get on here with one physical team USC. Yeah I said it. We'll see how UCLA likes it down here this year. And we won't have Foster fumbling or Chavis' terrible prevent defense to help them out.

I think it's a valid argument that the SEC prepares one best for the next level. That in no way, shape, or form means other conferences are vastly inferior. Just think... going to Vandy, UK, USCe, or Miss St. is a much worse choice for a football player than say... Oklahoma, Texas, USC, etc....

You are clueless. I didn't think it could get any worse than your escapades in the recruiting forum.

Dude your one of the worse trolls I've seen. You are a Pac-10 homer but act like you're a Vols fan. Give me a break.

I'm not a troll.
Where would you get such a lunatic idea that I'm a Pac-10 homer?

Never said that it's better to play in a lower tier SEC school than to play at USC or other powerhouses. But it's better to play at Vandy or Miss. St. than at places like Iowa St., Washington, Washington St., Indiana, Purdue, Texas A&M, Kansas St., Virginia, Duke, Maryland, or Colorado.

Dude no Vols fan takes up for the Pac-10. I could see if it was just USC. But the whole Pac-10 get serious. And it's not even across the board. You can easily see that. The SEC plays much faster on the field than the other conferences. Do you remember what Jeff Tedford said about the SEC when the Vols smashed him in 2006?

Eh idk about some of those, but I do agree that at a top SEC program you will be more physically tested on a weekly basis than at the majority of top programs from other conferences.

Back to the RBs please. I've got Kendall Hunter. Others have Jahvid "the Jet" Best. Others have one from the stable of 'SC backs. While others took Spiller or Dwyer. Surprised no one took Demarco Murray or Evan Royster.

Michael Smith, Charles Scott, Miquale Lewis, Evan Royster, Chris Brown, Demarco Murray, LeGarrette Blount, Tony Gerhart, Mark Ingram
