Fearing Obama

Here's a brief rundown of how things went in Iraq:

Day 1: Yay! No more saddam!
Day 2: Rumsfeld: Freedom is untidy (uh, wuh?)
Day 3: EVERYONE'S BEING BLOWED UP
Day 4: EVERYONE'S STILL BEING BLOWED UP

...
Day 700: EVERYONE'S STILL BEING BLOWED UP
etc...

So no matter how awesome Day 1 was, Day 2 through present has been an unmitigated disaster.*

Why are the people of Iraq so ungrateful. What a bunch of whiners!!

*This does not include The Surge which was "teh awesomest thing evah" for some reason.

This is the analysis from someone who called everyone on the board morons?

Outstanding!

accurate analysis nonetheless.
no it's not. Any administration official trying to say they didn't know this would be so hard is simply lying. They all knew this nation building thing, especially in the Middle East was going to be as difficult as anything they could have undertaken. I don't care what face Cheney and Rumsfeld try to put on it, they knew they were in for a long, difficult slog.

McCain = agreeing with Bush 90% of the time.

nearly 90% of all senate votes are unanimous. Things like voting to recognize the women's US Olympic Volleyball Team, or to declare October as National Burrito Month.

So, your man Obama has likely voted 90% with Bush as well, unless he has something against burritos.

I'd say it'd have to be one of those fancy burritos with tofurkey, brie cheese and arugula before Obama would vote for it.
