Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

There is need. He is the one who was violating the Presidential Records Act of 1978, and withholding Presidential records from the National Archives and Records Administration after leaving office. He was breaking the law, and obstructing an investigation in the process by defying a subpoena. He also had two classified documents uncovered in that storage unit, after telling the FBI that all of the classified material had already been handed over.
No actually there is not and we can thank President Clinton for that and his sock drawer of tapes.

Just another item on the list that House Republicans will try to impeach him for.

They need to be careful though. They might succeed and make Kamala the President. Don't need that.

Could it be worse? I mean she would be a lame duck and awfully entertaining to the world.

Malarkey, you fail to see Trump has more privileges as opposed to a VP who stole documents.
You fail to understand that under the Presidential Records Act of 1978, the President is legally obligated to turn over his records to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) upon leaving office. That is because under this law, those records are not considered the personal property of the President, but rather the property of the United States. Donald Trump was in clear violation of this law for over a year, and he still refused to comply with it, even after he was served with a subpoena for those records by the FBI. I have explained this to you numerous times now. How old are you? No adult human being should be THIS damn stupid. You are like a special needs child.

Here are some videos which explain the Presidential Records Act of 1978 in more detail.

Thanks, Presidential Act for the 10th time today. VP stole Obama’s documents.

Trump refused to comply with a subpoena, which the FBI served him, in order to enforce a law that he was breaking (The Presidential Records Act of 1978). That is indeed different than what Biden has done.
How about you defeading what Biden has done with out referring thrump

That is correct ...

... and Trump, as a former President after January 20, 2021, did not have the right to withhold Presidential records from the National Archives and Records Administration, in violation of the Presidential Records Act of 1978, but that is exactly what he did, even after being served with a subpoena for them by the FBI.
But...but...but

You'll have to yell louder than that. He can't hear you over those videos posted.
... and he is still stubbornly insisting that Trump didn't break the law, even though he claims to understand what the Presidential Records Act of 1978 is. You are not smart guys. There is not a nice way to say it.

Why hasn't he been prosecuted then?
It's still an open investigation ... and the DOJ doesn't want to go after a former President for obvious reasons. They gave Trump 5 months to hand those records over to the National Archives and Records Administration after serving him with a subpoena. I don't think that they wanted to raid Mar-a-Lago, Trump had made it clear that he was never going to comply.
