To clarify - they took 12 boxes. The article does not say it was 12 boxes of "classifed material".

It is not clear what was in the boxes that were taken on Monday."

In the prior 15 Trump turned over the found "some" documents.

Not saying there isn't classified info in what they took but I doubt all 12 boxes are full of nothing but classified material.

Well they didn’t go there to raid his panty drawer so just using a bit of brain power I am able to infer that they only took what they were there for, which is classified material.

By all accounts this went on for 18 months. In June, FBI agents were there and saw materials-- we don't know what- in boxes in a room. Alarmed, they ordered that the room be shut and padlocked. That's reportedly the source of this whole mess.

Upholding the law is being part of the problem? How else was the national archive to retrieve their documents? They asked, even nicely, for 6 months. You or I wouldn’t be given that same opportunity. Why defend Trump on this?

I still don't understand why Trump just didn't turn them over. Incidentally, he reportedly walked in on that visit in June. So he knew what was going on, in terms of the importance attached to it all.
