Candidates endorsed by former President Donald J. Trump had another immaculate night in statewide and federal races Tuesday, just a day after the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided Mar-a-Lago. His endorsement record now stands at 192-11.

Businessman Tim Michels, who served as a U.S. Army ranger for 12 years, beat out his opponent, Rebecca Kleefisch, for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in Wisconsin, Dave Wasserman of the Cook Report declared.

As the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes, Trump endorsed Michels back in June.

The state prosecutors were involved in that deal, if I recall correctly. Otherwise it didn’t stop the state. You can be prosecuted concurrently by the feds and state.

Also, your conclusion that states prosecute more harshly than the feds is generally not correct.

Canvassing of unverified Mail in ballots was a primary reason Biden received 81m votes. The Democratic Party by a large margin saw a significant percentage of their votes via mail-in ballots vs. Republican mail-in ballots. This was the difference in the election. Legitimate election checks and balances were not in place or ignored by some states. Mail-in ballots if I remember correctly actually doubled from 2016 to 2020.

I’d being lying to say that I’ve never seen such a high profile sex case possibly involving minors and very high profile people as “ clients “ just stop and basically disappear after one conviction. It very odd indeed

Those are the same, empty generalities that the Trump farcical legal team put out there. And every time a judge said, ok, I'm listening.... they had nothing.

High profile stuff tends to get prosecuted more severely. There are some legitimate and more cynical reasons why that is the case.

Other cases do seem to go away after the first conviction because the prosecutor has less interest in spending his time on the same case and the defendants see the first guy get thrown in a woodchipper for going to trial.

I’d have to refresh my memory on what happened in that case but I remember thinking it was some BS.
