We are not a democracy that gets to dictate to the minority. But with federalism that is exactly what is occurring.
If DC would stick to the powers invested in the USC all this turmoil would vanish..not this SJW and delegating funds with taxation from the national populace.

This DC is middleman in such as commerce and benefit of an industry. Another level of inefficiency and control. Just like fed gas taxes..they take and then get to delegate how to appropriate.
For all the liberals that say the conservative states take more than they pay..well, do something about it.

Law enforcement officers have killed the armed man who attacked the FBI's field office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ricky Walter Shiffer was shot dead by police Thursday after raised a gun towards officers around 3pm, state highway patrol confirmed.

Shiffer had attempted to break into the office, prompting a five-hour standoff with authorities.

The body armor wearing suspect fled the office and was chased onto highway before abandoning his car by a cornfield on a country road just off of Interstate 71.

The confrontation came as officials warned of an increase in threats against federal agents in the days following a search of former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

That seems like a whiny bitch version of “yes”.

So why is that?

It’s because we have a constitutional system that sets limits on what the majority and wishful authoritarians like you can “shove down the throats” of others. It’s because that same constitution devised a system for peaceful resolution of disagreements over how it should be run. That system is that you get a vote in how the government is managed, and in exchange you benefit from the advancement of society that’s enabled by not having to have civil wars every couple of decades whenever people get pushed too far. That right to vote further limits the extremes that those chosen to manage it can go to because they need popular appeal.

There’s nothing being shoved down your throat. You consented to this system in one way or another and if you disagree there’s a method for changing it.

And you’ve benefitted from it, despite being too whiny to see it.
