Ferguson Riots

It's not about who or what was said, IMO. It's that everybody gets a voice. The person I was responding to said, "they shouldn't say anything" but I guarantee you he wouldn't have said anything had the players made a statement in agreement with him.

That's not true and you know it. Ted Nugent made a statement and he gets called a racist kook. 3 Rams players make this overtly racist gesture in support of a criminal, and because they are black athletes they get a pass.

You're wrong on this.

The f***** up thing is those that get a voice are the ones wrong and the most racist of all, free to spew all the garbage they want with no repercussions. If white players had did what I stated they'd be on sportscenter and msnbc getting crucified and probably fined having to take sensitivity training.

My point is that we should all be allowed to have a voice. Obviously there are consequences, but we can't say "don't talk because your profession is X". I don't know about the sensitivity training, but yeah, people would freak.

White people get the best judicial results but get judged harshly for their opinions in today's social climate. Would you rather be the group that doesn't get the court decisions, but gets to speak with less social consequence?

Maybe white people commit less overall crime and/or are smarter if they do.

St. Louis Rams give pregame salute to Ferguson, Missouri - ESPN

Kenny Britt? :eek:lol:

Well, I guess he would have somewhat of an idea about the gesture.

I'm not saying whites should or shouldn't get the best results in the judicial system, all I'm saying is that when we do we will be placed under a social microscope. It's just a reality that that comes with the territory.

This is akin to people that say Darrin Wilson supporters are racist. There is a difference between racial motivation and racist motivation.

There's a difference when race isn't an issue but made an issue to support a false "struggle". If anything Michael Brown shows us how self inflicted the real issues are.

Well maybe actual reality needs to be enforced instead of pandering to some false struggle based on race.
