If those people who suffered damage during the riots, if they have insurance they'll be made whole. If not, perhaps they can seek charges against those responsible. Past that, it's time to move on.
Christ. Of course you would suggest to "move on". Let's move on because it's convenient and it would further anger the mob there. How about these people be held accountable for their actions? I don't care if you have to lock up to entire ****ing town. Choosing not to prosecute someone, especially when it's so obvious that he did incite mob and there's concrete proof, because it would upset the people there is garbage.

Lots of insurance policies are not payable in the event of civil unrest or war... Of course even if they are, there's lost income, and the fact that their premiums will go up too... due to absolutely no fault of their own.
Time to move on my ass. Hold that asshat accountable for what he helped start.
Didn't obama say he was starting a "task force" for ferguson, with a budget something like 250 million? Who do you reckon is paying for that? WE ARE the tax payers.
Same song, second verse. Get mad all you want, it is what it is.
the prosecutor has discretion whether to pursue it, or not. It just seems to me that, on the whole, the community is better served in letting the situation calm down, rather than escalating things further.
Well, finally something we can agree on. Yet somehow that doesn't seem to bother you that we get stuck with the bill and those responsible get to go home to their 57 inch TVs and 40s. strange.

This would be a huge mistake, in my opinion. But I know many on here would applaud it.
What does this have to do with whether or not they should go after this ignorant slut for inciting riots?
Well, this is the ferguson thread there hoss.
If they charge him, fine, if they don't, fine idgaf honestly.
However, I will say, if they do charge him, it would be in their best Interests to set about rounding up everyone responsible for the rioting and looting that occurred. That could take a while (reviewing video footage and all)

If your business had been looted and then burned would you expect or want law enforcement to do their job?
Or would you say "meh" no need to stir up the criminals or spend anymore tax dollars on my behalf. I ll just eat that turd samich myself.
IIRC I heard the local chief say they were looking at video as early as last week regarding the vandals and that investigation has already started.
