Final 5

Too many moving parts......and other schools have players to add, which will include some uncommitted 4 and 5 stars.

Not too many moving parts, just a logical set of data. The graph above is is not based on assumptions for how the rest of the teams in 2019 finish, but is based on a fully-filled classes of the past five recruiting cycles.

And we're dealing with 2019, not those last five classes. So I made my own guess.

And we're dealing with 2019, not those last five classes. So I made my own guess.

2019 is pertinent to the last five classes. There has been less than a 5% deviation in the top ten recruiting positions over the last 5 years, and mostly less than a 1-2% deviation. So the last 5 classes are very indicative of the 2019 class.

Not trying nitpick; just don't want the info to be misunderstood. If we miss out on Wright (unlikely) and some other top-rated recruits, yes I think we stay near our current rank near #13. But I think we have a pretty good shot at better than #10 this year, with #5-6 being the ceiling if we hit it on all cylinders.

Below is a graph that averages total recruiting points for the top ten teams in the last 5 recruiting cycles, from 247.

For example, the last five #1 recruiting teams averaged 316 recruiting points over the last five years. The last five #2 recruiting teams averaged 307 total recruiting points. And so forth down to #10 that averaged 266 total recruiting points over the past five years.

Right now UT sits at 256.9 total points for the 2019 recruiting cycle, and sits at #13 at the 247 site.
If we add Wright to the current list, we bump up to 267.6 points, which is typical of a #9-10 rank.
If we add Wright and To'oto'o, we bump up to 276.09 points, which is typical of a #8-9 rank.
Adding Wright + To'oto'o + Bogle gets us to 282.9 points, which is typical of #5-6 rank.
Adding Wright + To'oto'o + Bogle + Hampton gets us to 288.97, which is typical of a #4-5 rank.

Wright seems very likely, which nearly guarantees a finish around #10.
If the cards fall right and the moon and stars align, then somewhere between #5-10 would be possible.

As the 2019 class stands right now, Pruitt has assembled a group of overall higher quality recruits than any of Dooley or Jones' classes, and is the highest quality of recruit since Kiffin's class. Adding Wright and another highly rated recruit, it could surpass the quality of Kiffin's and could be the highest quality since Fulmer's 2005 class.

Fulmer did have some below-par recruiting classes in his last half dozen years.

Pretty impressed with what Pruitt has done with the 2019 class, given the mess Jones left us with. 8-10 wins next year should put us in even better shape for the 2020 class.

Now that is how you report on recruiting classes!! Well done by whoever did all of that work! I think we add Wright, either Bogle or To'To Yamamoto, and just 1 more. I don't think we are going to have as many leave the program as everyone thinks. We are at 91 right now as it sits I think. We would need to have 11 more to leave out in order to add 5 more. I just don't see 11 current kids giving up full scholarships to Tennessee. We may end up only adding Wright, another LB and 1 or 2 graduate transfers.

Kennedy Chryst And London counted on 19 I believe. This would mean we had 22.

With Brooks counter from 2016 and Tanner from 2018 we added 2 back.

That’s now 24.

We have 19 now plus 1 Transfer signed.

We have 4 spots plus blue shirts imo.

The good news is, we haven’t heard anything on Trey Smith yet. I hope he comes back and plays, so that spot won’t be open if he retires. That offensive line just got biggg.

Anthony Harris
Darnell Wright
Henry To'oto'o
Byron Young
Haselwood or Pickens
Mark-Anthony Richards

If we're really dreaming, subtract Richards and add Ishmael Sopsher.

Anyone saying trey is done (you don’t know so no one on this board wants to hear your opinion) when he is qualified as a medical scholarship like Antoutti and Brooke’s then I will accept. So until then I will hold out hope

Realistically:

1) Wright
2) Russell
3) Moore
4) Robinson (even more important if Harris doesn't make it in/bounces)
5) K. Williams

Dreaming: Replace Robinson and Williams with Henry T. and that WR from Texas, Henderson.

Lol...we got a poster here that is privy to private conversations between Trey and his family. I will definitely be paying more attention when you post.
