This **** is really getting old. Armchair, if by suffering her last two seasons with early symptoms of her disease after winning back to back NC's two years earlier means the game passed her by, then I don't know what to say about that. Geno will never scratch the surface of everything Pat accomplished in her lifetime. Without Pat, there would be no Geno. The only difference I see between UCONN and the other teams is their good shooting ability. Nothing else they do is any different. But, they do shoot very good consistently. There's your winning edge.

Interesting to see McGraw say that her and Geno have no sort of relationship and there's not a hint of civility between the two programs. Sounds similar to Pat and Geno's situation. Coincidence that Geno's the common denominator in both situations?

It's pretty much indisputable that Geno is a total a-hole. But the only way to shut him up is to knock him off the throne. Otherwise, his a-hole-ness is earned.

kudos for the U Conn men for knocking the bloom off of GEE NO's rose. They don't have four All Americans and # 1 recruits on the roster.

The guy is a first-class jerk with a huge chip on his shoulder, but he's also a great coach--better than our coach, and, yes, better players too. We need coaching and player upgrades. And make no mistake: If we don't fix the coaching side soon, we will stop getting top players and then become a true also-ran.

Always love it when you are top Dog,no matter what happens tonight win or lose,there is nor will there ever be another coach better than GENO,for what he has done IMO he has the right to be snotty and eleven million dollars says he can be a jerk or a a-hole,BUT the facts say he is the GREATEST

Why are you on this forum exactly? Why not take this to a UConn board where people would actually unanimously agree with you? Or if you want to talk smack why not do it on a Notre Dame message board or the board of any team that your program has played in the last 7 years? I think the answer to that lies in the fact that Pat Summitt and Tennessee set the standard for women's basketball and UConn and it's coach realize that and still harbor an incredible amount of resentment and pettiness. However, what more would you expect from a fan base that perpetually obsessed over the sexual orientation of a woman in her fifties who had a son and was also married for over 20 years? GO IRISH!!!!!!!!
