Here are the final season overall standings with the lowest score dropped. Congrats to SyxxSynse for pulling out a one point victory, similar to Smoke overtaking Edwards at the last race. A top 10 but still early-just like last seasson. Will make my move early than the CHASE this year. Hope to do better down the road. Good luck to all at Vegas.

This group thing is still excellent. The wreck at Phoenix shows just how it can scramble everything up! In the old system I would have picked Kyle, Carl, Jimmie, Jeff Gordon, and Harvick. Well, out of that bunch Carl was the only one that had a bad day really. But having to pick two from each group creates HAVOC when there's a big wreck like we had yesterday. Even though I was near the bottom of the pile I love it. Makes every race that much more interesting and makes everyone here care about alot more drivers than they ever would have before. Now you are perhaps really interested in where Robby, Bobby Labonte, or Casey Mears runs where you never would have been before.

The difference at Phoenix for most contest entrants was Group C. The majority picked Vickers, Bayne and R. Smith who were all in wrecks. Those who picked Labonte scored the highest. Also picking Newman out of B paid off well. Both were picks I suggested, but didn't make myself. Mears was the highest finishing C driver, but no one picked him. Gilliand was a good choice too, but not picked.

Forgetting to enter my picks really hurt, that was my problem last year.

Moved up from tied for 34th to 13th, not bad, and just shows how quickly you can become a contender early in the contest. If you are low in the standings, don't give up yet, hook up to my bumper and we'll draft by these yahoos.

I should have stuck with my Hamlin pick. I changed it to Kyle before the race. Still not looking bad. There's nothing wrong with silver.

I'll eventually not put a hex on someone for picking them. I'm sure Biffle would like to punch his gas guy in the face. Until they get that worked out I won't be picking the Biff anytime soon.

I like the first set best! I'd be top 10 but with the 2nd set, I'm 16th. Oh well!

Yeah a lot of people dropped, but that's generally because some who missed a race have a zero, so their scores didn't drop. The positive for the rest of us is they cannot drop again since their low score is zero.

I am seriously considering not having another Mulligan because it negates some of the skill involved in picking.

So, as of right now, you are going to drop the lowest score of the 1st half of the season, then drop the lowest of the 2nd?
