Final Overall Championship Standings.

So, as of right now, you are going to drop the lowest score of the 1st half of the season, then drop the lowest of the 2nd?

That is the way I have it now, but seeing how it really scrambles the standings has given me second thoughts about having more than one score dropped. I will post my decision in the next 24 hours.

I vote for only 1 mulligan. Makes it better, and people will have to pay attention better and make it more competitive IMO

The lowest score dropped should happen at the halfway point. Or will it change if someone scores lower between now and then?

Perhaps put an asterisk next to the names of those that have (or haven't) had a score dropped. That could be done now for those that have missed a race. That would give the most accurate standings as we go.

The second set of standings have everyone's lowest score dropped. In some cases that score is zero. The advantage to you and all who have not missed and do not miss a race is that you can still drop a lower score. Since those who have missed have a zero for low score, they cannot drop any more.

I will put an asterisk by those who have zero.

Each week I will adjust anyone who records their lowest score so far. That way the overall standings will always be actual true standings. This way everyone knows how they truly rank with everyone else. I don't want to have the example of yourself thinking you are higher than you are before I dropped the lowest score. I should have done that with the Phoenix race.

Yeah a lot of people dropped, but that's generally because some who missed a race have a zero, so their scores didn't drop. The positive for the rest of us is they cannot drop again since their low score is zero.

I am seriously considering not having another Mulligan because it negates some of the skill involved in picking.

A bunch of of got screwed!:dunno::wacko: Hate mulligans, especially for those of us who play every week and we've already got a good score dropped. I can see if some of us had a bad score. Too bad for those who got zero. If someone misses a week tough.:good!:

Well like I said they are stuck with what they have as they cannot drop again. As long as you don't miss a race, you still can drop a lower score, so your "good score" would once again be put back in your total instead of the low score. It works out the same for everybody in the end, but favors someone using a missed race as their low score early on, IF their other two scores were good ones, but becomes a disadvantage over the course of the entire season. If I had dropped the low scores with the Phoenix overall, no one would have noticed anything.

21 points between 9th & 23rd! That's tight. At least back in the top 10-again. Now to stay in the top 10. The top 7 are close too!

Somehow I have taken over first place and I don't even watch Nascar. I wonder how long I'll hold on.

I'm just biding my time, no use wasting my good picks early on, I have an easy 3-4 wins in my this year.

Well, my Kenseth loyalty hasn't helped me thus far, but I'm going to stick with it. Having fair luck with the B and especially the C picks is what's going to win this sucker.

Great format.

I agree fully. Some seem to be locked in with the same B & C drivers every race, which may be a valid strategy, but I think you need to look at each race individually. Each week so far, the winning difference is the points earned by either the C or B drivers picked. The most picked C drivers are Regan Smith, Brian Vickers and Trevor Bayne, with Bobby Labonte gaining each race.
