Final Record

It's not loser mentality. It's just the reality of things Grand Vol. Look I understand that part of winning is taking advantage of the opposing team's weaknesses. I don't claim to have a crystal ball for God's sake! That's why if you go back and read my post I said that "if Gurley and Marshall are healthy and in that game, the results would PROBABLY have been much different."

That's exactly what it is. And trolling as well. Anyone that looks at yesterdays game and thinks for one second the Vols will lose to Vandy and not put up a huge fight to Mizzu, South Carolina and Auburn still has yet to see the potential the majority of us see. And this nonsense of "I support the Vols" is BS when making the grandiose claim of a 4-8 record.

Before yesterday my prediction and hope of a 7-5 season was nothing more than a wish. But after seeing the progress this team has made, I'm standing firm on the fact we will lost a game to a team we shouldn't and win an upset.

And we certainly won't be 4-8...

No, he does speak the truth Grand Vol. Not to take anything away from our guys because they did play their hearts out. However only a fool would say that Gurley and Marshall being out didn't factor into being a huge advantage for us. I don't think any reasonable person wouldn't say that if Gurley and Marshall are healthy and in that game, the results would probably have been much different.

So, Devrin Young, Marlin Lane, and Curt Maggitt being out didn't hurt us? I know Gurley and Marshall are great backs, but injuries are part of the game. If a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his rump.

4-8 this year and likely next. Sorry to bring you down but the only winnable game left on our schedule is Kentucky. We played way over our heads tonight and remember, UGA was 1 dimensional with their 3rd string tailback playing. This was the game of the year for us and we couldn't get it done. The boots played their hearts out but couldn't close the deal. I have been to 2 games already and will be at least 2 more games this year, so you can't say I dont support the team.

Tennessee has NEVER lost 8 games in any one season, I don't think we start in 2013.

We played a heavily injured Georgia team and still lost the game. I doubt we will get more than 7.

I think 6-6 is still the most realistic, but a good shot at 7-5 and with some luck, maybe 8-4. Missou and Auburn worry me, but I think we whip the cocks and curb stomp Vandy.

Vandys D is Sal Sunseri bad.

It looks that way! The off the field problems have really affected them. They have a lot of the same guys on D this year that were on their good D from last year. This team doesn't have the fire of the 2012 squad.

I said 5-7 at the beginning of the season. I could see 4-8 or 6-6 just depending on how many breaks we get. We certainly wont play a team with 2 prolific rbs and 2 starting wrs out of the game again.

its cute how the majority of people attack the fans that say we go 4-8, no respect at all for people around here, sad actually.

You must be high on something. We beat SC, Auburn, Ketucky, Vandy and possibly Mizo.

From what I saw last night Mizzou could win the East. Their offense is Oregon good. They've got a pair of receivers that can do what ever they want and an awesome veteran QB!

This site is full of Trolls. It's a free site so it doesn't cost them a penny to come on and continue to talk the program down. True fans see the progress, true fans will continue to go and support and bring this program back to the top. It clear our coach is embracing the history of the program and using it to turn us around. After all, most of us true fans are here because of the history of the program. We're sure not here because of the product we have put out there the last 4-5 years.

Don't know if we go 4-8, 5-6, 6-6, 7-5, 8-4 or 9-3 but I do know this team and this program are getting better with each week. The true fans need to get out and support this teams effort as the clearly feed off of the fan support.

You can't seriously be comparing the impact of those players VS the impact of losing Gurley and Marshall.
