I think it is interesting that Drew Richmond is still committed to Ole' Miss, but has low interest in Tennessee and a few others. I'm going to predict a signing day coup by Butch Jones to get Richmond to sign with the Vols on signing day.

Mike Farrell said that there were 5 new five stars and 6 that moved from a 5 to a 4..also mentioned that one of the new five stars moved up 140 spots.

I am now more confident than ever that we all need to shut the heck up and let Butch do his job. He has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he is an excellent judge of ability and can build relationships with the right guys to get them to Rocky Top! It's obvious Rivals could learn a thing or two from Butch and his staff.

I wouldnt be so sure. Ole miss is spending top dollar for their recruits.

SEC has 35 of the 100 committed players, rest of conferences have 43 combined...22 remain uncommitted


SEC has 14 of the 34 five star players from the Rivals100 list...rest of conferences have 12...eight remain uncommitted

this is why talk of the SEC's demise have been vastly overstated. we still recruit the best players in the country. its only a matter of time before another SEC dynasty begins.

hopefully its Tennessee this time.

You guys should be OK with one down recruiting year..if I were the coaches I would just go with what you have and not reach and sign a bigger class next year

Just fill up the class with a bunch of 2*s and see if you can coach um up as well as Pinkel!

In Pinkels eyes he has had the #1 recruiting class every year. It's quite simple actually....Pinkel could careless about recruiting websites and what they think. He has a better gauge on heart and work ethic. Can't get that from 247. Fans get to caught up in what an athlete is ranked.

Florida now has a recruiting class ranked #96. To put this into perspective, MTSU, Georgia Southern, and Vandy have better classes at this point.

Unfortunately, it'll have no effect on the outcome of the game this September 26....we all know what that's gonna be.

Well he got crushed by Saban's real life #1 class, so he may want to start doing more than imagining #1 classes if he wants to take Missouri to the next level.

How does this make sense?

Clemson has 2 - 6.0 4*'s , 6 - 5.9 4*'s & 1 - 5.8 4*
Tenn has 1 - 6.0 4*, 2 - 5.9 4*'s and 9 - 5.8 4*'s

Let's see if any of TN's 5.8's jump up today.

That is nasty.

Only group I can find better is FSU 4 - 5*'s and 3 - 4*'s.

I don't believe there are 10 players any better than Phillips if the all American game is any indication. I doubt it matters to Jones where they got him, the eye test is all anyone with a brain needs to see. I put my stock in Jones over any service any day. GO VOLS!!!!

Where are you getting 10 from? Isn't he rated in the 30s?

Jauan Jennings and Sheriron Jones stay 4*s but drop out of the top 250
Kendall Bussey stays 4* but drops to #106
