Well, you don't like me or respect me based on "who I should vote for", but at least we agree on some issues!
lol:
I hate polls like this anyway. I think that the reason I end up coming up "democratic" is because I always see enough gray to go with an answer as low importance that might otherwise be the other answer with medium importance. For example, absolute questions about abortion: yes or no are hard for me. I don't want this to turn into an abortion debate, so I won't elaborate too much..but while I am not down with the idea, I see a few special circumstance cases that make me say yes to legalized abortion low priority, instead of no to legalized abortion medium priority. The same is true for social security...I can think through a lot of ways as to why I would support privatized vs. not privatized...so I just go with no opinion for now. The war in Iraq is a crazy question. I want to say just get the troops out of there...but then you here some good news and you think maybe there's a chance. And - one state vs. three is a whole other matter. Honestly...the death penalty is the only one that I can think of offhand that was actually pretty easy.
I can commit to opinions when I have to...but a poll isn't enough of a motivator to actually make me do it.
