Fulmer isn't going any where and that's the way it needs to be....He's one of the best coaches in the SEC and he's proved it, you people that say he need to go are ignorant....Who would you rather have? Someone from the WAC that you've never heard of? Fulmer is here to stay and it needs to be that way....You people crack me up

fulmer is overated and that is the fact. he wins 1 out of every 5 games against top 10 teams. he's dragging the team down and i wonder if arkansas does't fumble the ball to tennessee in 98 if fulmer wouldn't be gone already.

Would you like some cheese to go with that whine? Everyone has off years and this is our year...2002 wasn't a great year either....If you want him gone so much why don't you go and complain to the AD about it? Write them a letter and let them know about it....You aren't doing much about it sitting on the internet whining about it...:thefinger:

i dont thin fulmer is bad becasue we cant have ag reat year every year.

I AM JUST SO SICK AND TIRED OF UNDERACHIEVING. I WOULD BE OKAY W/ OUR RECORD WITH AN AVERAGE TEAM. NOT THIS TEAM. NOT THIS YEAR. WE ARE TOO GOOD TO BE 500. WE SHOULD BE 5-1 AT MOST 4-2. IF OUR OFFENSE WAS CONSISTENT WE WOULD BE 6-0. THE UNDERACHIEVING MUST STOP.

Gotta disagree.

Fulmer is a great figurehead and great recruiter. I feel like if we lose him we'll be back to the 5-6 Bill Battle days. What we need are good assistant coaches and a sense of urgency. Fulmer also needs to make a couple of personal changes, namely, demand more out of his players and staff.

Sorry guys but since 98 UT has done nothing, SOS leaves and UT still can't do anything. Fulmer continues to retain coaches that nobody wants and don't get the job done. If Fulmer doesn't get rid of some dead weight on the coaching staff and NOT bring in more yes men that will do the same thing then he can go, imo.

UT should have at least two SECC since 98. I want some fresh ideas in Knoxville not more of the "family" guys.

Ok...let me say here publicly...I apologize to Sarge. I have really been riding him for riding Randy. I will say this in his defense...the offense has been attrocious. My argument with Sarge is that it is not just Randy's fault and getting rid of him will not be a cure-all, butat least Sarge has a crippled little leg to stand on. At least he some basis for an argument. So I hereby declare that Sarge is no longer "Chief of the Slapnuts." The newly appointed Chief is smokedog. PHILLIP IS DRAGGING THEPROGRAM DOWN?! You need to stop all that smoking dude.

Fire CPF, Thats brilliant!
Lets total up his contract, then figure in to it his buy/out clause. Sounds like an X-BOX decision to me. :boredom:

There are a lot of X-Box decisions that go around after a loss.

ok, Fulmer should be responsible for a game plan that wins easily without three fumbles. I want to know right now who your top three replacements would be. You can't fire a coach without a replacement. Our gameplan, less the reverse on second and six (that was a crappy call) was easily good enough to win this game.

Fantastic post freak..except the reverse wasn't a crappy call just well played. I wouldn't have called it, but I wouldn't call it crappy. That's one of those "you're stupid or your brilliant" calls...depending on the outcome.

it's a good call if we are struggling at that point to run the football. We were still able to move the ball and that call took a second and six and put us in third and sixteen. It was a crappy call in that situation.

That's why I said I wouldn't have called it...I thought the timing was a little off. You gotta do that though or "between the tackles" will dry up eventually.

I agree. I don't mind the call but I just don't like it in that particular situation when we were moving the ball.
