Hammy will be held accountible. Fired within the next six weeks. Done deal.

I'm just thankful he wasn't our AD during the ticket controversy in '86 or the Jack Sells garbage. That was back when we actually had an AD who knew how to operate in public and in private.

When the Clemneck is sent packing, it will be one of the few good days this Athletics Department has had since 2003.

Yeah coach pearl fudged up, but he shouldn't have been fired. Hamm is a money man and he should know how much money he has brought the program and on top of that success on the court!! But he's a good fund raiser with no leadership skills

One of the many job requirements of an athletic director.

Modern athletic directors are often in a precarious position, especially at the larger institutions. Although technically in charge of all of the coaches, they are often far beyond well-compensated and also less famous, with few having their own television and radio programs as many coaches now do. In attempting to deal with misconduct by coaches, they often find their efforts trumped by a coach's powerful connections, particularly if he is an established figure with a long-term winning record. However, in the case of severe coaching misconduct being proven, often the athletic director will be terminated along with the offending coach.

You really think I care what someone thinks of Hamilton?

My problem is the idiots still making excuses for Pearl.

Pearl is trash.

Volunteer basketball was a cesspool before Pearl, and will struggle to stay out of that pool without him. He made a mistake, but if Jim Tressel can keep his job after the recent allegations, Pearl should have been retained...

Please stop with the mistake defense. None of this was accidental. He was reprimanded at Wisconsin Milwaukee for having juniors to a cookout, then did it again, then lied about it knowing the NCAA would be pissed he did it again.

Then he cried and apologized to all of us in September. Four days later he committed another recruiting violation. Then after the school got the list of charges against him Pearl committed ANOTHER violation less than a month later.

Why are people still defending him now? Are people really this stupid?

Can one person clearly explain to me why Hamilton should be fired?

Without mentioning Kiffin

why not mention Kiffin? that's part of his body of work.

Your mens team is heading to the tournament for the 6th straight year and still reeling from the turmoil of the year and you come out and cut them out from under the knees the day before the game.

Then fire the coach and take away the focud on the womans team.

Did the same to Fulmer with games to go.

He could care less about the programs and his timing.

He just needs to go.
