I've watched UGA all season... said all along that their defense was best in US. I dove headlong into the magic of Vol football. We lost... ONE game. I think our Vols will win out. What a great season.

I pray we get a chance at a rematch. It’d be very interesting to see if CJH can come up with a plan to put points on them

It’s okay to be upset and disappointed. That was about as bad as it could of went. We didn’t have anything to cheer about after that first FG.
Thank you for understanding and not misconstruing that being upset with our performance today isn't someone melting down. I know we've seen some epic meltdowns over the last several years, but damn. This isn't the same.

Exactly. Our team showed up and pissed down their leg. There’s no other way to put it. But it’s the first time we’ve seen that under CJH. I’m willing to give him a pass I think considering where we are in year 2. I’ll be perfectly happy with 11-1. But today, yes I can be pissed off

I worry that we are a one year wonder. After Hooker, Hyatt, and Tillman are gone, I am concerned we won’t have the skill players to replicate the success next year. The talent gap was glaringly wide today across the board. Recruiting will tell. I just am tired of being a middle tier SEC team for my entire life, and that’s what we looked like today.
I take it you are younger then? It’s cyclical. Bama was garbage before Saban showed up there and he didn’t win a natty in his 2nd year. It took Kirby 6 years and they were loaded with talent when he got the job.

We are on track and we’ve got some game changers committed this year. I’m the biggest Hooker fan on here, but days like today happen even when you are supposed to win.

Look… Peyton had some games where he played like dog&h1t that some fans have erased from their memory. We lost to Memphis when we were 2nd or 3rd ranked in the nation. He threw 4 INTs in one half vs Florida that year. Tee had some crap games vs Auburn. Casey Clausen completely folded against UGA his senior year throwing 3 picks. Dobbs played the worst game of his career against South Carolina his senior year and we lost.

These things aren’t changed overnight. We won’t be as good next year most likely, but if we can win 10 games with Milton then when Nico takes over we should be rolling. We just have to keep working to change the narrative.

The early signing period really killed our chances to have a super class this year. It wasn’t that long ago that you were able to regain momentum with kids because they signed in February (I think 2017 is was the year it changed to December). Most of these kids in the 2023 class had already made up their mind before the season started, or at least we were fighting an uphill battle. Win out this year and these 2024 kids will keep rolling in.

This group of guys are the ones left or transferred in after the A team jumped ship when the last coach was fired. They have played intense and inspired football and I have to believe that the recruits who are considering playing for TN will be equally inspired to also make their mark in TN knowing what a great coaching staff and top notch game day atmosphere UT offers. Still rebuilding. Stay patient.

Just kidding obviously. I laugh at folks who are melting down right now. We had an off game against defending champs. It happens. Best season we’ve had in years people. Relax. Sit back and enjoy. Lots of good still to come. GBO!!
Nobody is melting down. You can be in full support of this team and take a realistic and critical analysis of the game played tonight.
