I take it you are younger then? It’s cyclical. Bama was garbage before Saban showed up there and he didn’t win a natty in his 2nd year. It took Kirby 6 years and they were loaded with talent when he got the job.

We are on track and we’ve got some game changers committed this year. I’m the biggest Hooker fan on here, but days like today happen even when you are supposed to win.

Look… Peyton had some games where he played like dog&h1t that some fans have erased from their memory. We lost to Memphis when we were 2nd or 3rd ranked in the nation. He threw 4 INTs in one half vs Florida that year. Tee had some crap games vs Auburn. Casey Clausen completely folded against UGA his senior year throwing 3 picks. Dobbs played the worst game of his career against South Carolina his senior year and we lost.

These things aren’t changed overnight. We won’t be as good next year most likely, but if we can win 10 games with Milton then when Nico takes over we should be rolling. We just have to keep working to change the narrative.

The early signing period really killed our chances to have a super class this year. It wasn’t that long ago that you were able to regain momentum with kids because they signed in February (I think 2017 is was the year it changed to December). Most of these kids in the 2023 class had already made up their mind before the season started, or at least we were fighting an uphill battle. Win out this year and these 2024 kids will keep rolling in.

Remember the 97 Orange Bowl? We were loaded with Manning and got curbstomped. Sometimes you just meet a better team. I agree with everything you said , except the optimism with Milton. I know you said if , but I just don't think we're going better than 7 or 8 wins with Milton. Either Nico comes in , learns the offense at warp speed , Jackson takes a big step , or it'll be a very middling year at best. I do feel like Heupel will give us a chance to be back in business for 24 though.

Milton will be fine. He’s one of the leaders of this team and will be the leader next year.

You are wasting your breath. Some people just see the negative or just like to twiddle their fingers and get a rise on a forum or their rocks off in front of their buds. Theyre only fans of the Orange during the good times when they can show off in front of HS girls.

I worry that we are a one year wonder. After Hooker, Hyatt, and Tillman are gone, I am concerned we won’t have the skill players to replicate the success next year. The talent gap was glaringly wide today across the board. Recruiting will tell. I just am tired of being a middle tier SEC team for my entire life, and that’s what we looked like today.[/QUOTE

Learn, Hurts and get ready for Mizzou! It’s not the end of the world
If you are someone with many friends and relatives that are UGA fans, it may not be the end of the world but you can sure see it from here.

This game hurts sometimes.... this is one of those moments. It will also be a growing experience. These kids and coaches are invested. Anyone crapping on this team for this loss needs an ass kicking. We have work to do but the playoff is still there. Do we want a shot at redemption ? We have 3 games to find out....
