Fire Kiffin

Ok guys....Crompton played terrible, no doubt about that. However, I think Kiffin did the right thing by leaving the guy in. They still had a chance to win the game and salvage Crompton's confidence. They only need 3 yards to win this game, that is what is totally unacceptable.

Now let's start a new week, get behind our team and get Nick in as the starter, for better or worse he needs to be the man. Starting a TF at QB next year will be no easy road, get him all the game time that is possible starting next week at UF.

Go Vols, and freakn' back your team!

For those of you who didn't read my post, I'm being sarcastic.

Our staff will develop our young talent. The young players we have playing are good.

Programs dont go from 5-7 to 10-2 over night.

Unless your the Miami Dolphins

Thanks for explaining yourself... :good!:

Anybody that thought we were going to be anything more than a .500 ball team this year is totally delusional. I'll admit that I had my delusional moments last week but they quickly came to a halt. Kiffin will bring in recruits (unless the whole season turns into the UCLA game). Kiffin will play the best players. I would say to be patient for another couple of years (2012).

Just a quick reply. If you have not figured out the difference between your and you're, then politely, I ask that you never post again.

As far as everything else, it's the second game of a season where if you expected anything more than 7 wins... YOU'RE an epic fail. Buckle up, the ride will be rough this year and probably the next one too.

not kiffin's fault today fellas...did you really think crompton was going to be a heisman candidate? he just needs to be able to hand it off to hardesty or brown and throw to the guys in orange and i am just pissed that he couldn't do that....i mean seriously come on man handle a center qb exchange and they don't score that td....:banghead2:

Yes, when kiffin told us that crompton was good enough to get drafted then yes, I did think crompton would be better. Congrats David reaves, you received a higher paying Job because you have a good looking sister

Seriously FIRE KIFFIN, what the hell did you guys think we were going to do win a NC for christ sake! WE ALL knew realistically knew that this team at best with our QB situation was 7-5. Now I think we only get 6. I read some of this "what if" posts, just bc we blew out western high, everybody was talking about blowing people out and saying we would suprise people. This game showed us WHAT WE ALL KNEW, Kiffin inherited this team. I think he was proving a point to all potential QB recruits out their, by keeping Crapton in. So from now on stop BEING A HOMER and be realistic and you prob. wont be so let down, dont get me wrong I dont hardly drink that much anymore and I AM GETTING drunk after watching this game, but inside I knew we had a LONG way to go. I have faith in our coaching staff that within the next 2 to 3 years we will field a NC team. GOOOOOO VOOOOOLLLLLSSSSS!

The difference between this team this year and next year will be night and day

That would be nice, but without a good quarterback we're not going anywhere next season either.

So who is next year's quarterback that's going to turn all this around.

If it's Bray you're thinking of who is going to turn it around, well it's unrealistic to expect too much out of a true freshman, I'm thinking probably 2011 before we're really competitive in the SEC again. Thanks Fulmer.

Kevin Prince is a true freshman, he had a pretty big win today.

Doubt he can chew his food though
