‘23 FL CB Cormani McClain (Colorado Commit)

Middle-age me rolls his eyes, and says, Kids these days. However, a much wiser middle age me, totally understands. I want these kids to get as much as they possibly can, and this is one of the MANY avenues they have to do it. With that said, I also understand how some of us older people don't comprehend, or do not care about content...followers...'likes'...trends...branding, and how all that can equal MASSIVE money; not to mention, checking the market for one's worth. Very smart what he's doing.

Over this year, while taking care of my mom and granny, I've given myself a crash course on such things, and learning more and more about ways to utilize every inch of the internet and social media...to do whatever we want.

Then there are the Alabama fans

maaan, Colorado is gonna be soo bad, in a really bad league.

They’re going to have two really good CBs in Hunter and McClain. And being in a bad league, that’s a leg up. I guess we’ll see what else they get, but I’d expect Deion to land some studs. You don’t have to be SEC great to win the Pac 12. After all, Florida beat their champion this year.

Not signing with Miami per Wiltfong.

I bet he flips to Colorado. Deion will have them recruiting like they did in the 90s.
Kids are buying in. Let’s see if it’s sustainable. Unless there’s some mystery benefactor behind the scenes, the newness will fade imo.

I can’t wait till these high profile players realize a coach can’t teach natural ability and speed and that they’re passing up opportunities to play for legitimate programs in favor of a used car salesmen that happened to be a HOF player. I know Miami sucks, but this kid along with Travis Hunter and Dylan Edwards could’ve went anywhere

1) we don’t know how they’ll be developed (or not developed) but Deion can recruit. Not sure why he’d be viewed much differently than Cristobal - or any other coach who has proven to be a good recruiter but not won anything - at this point

2) this is fantastic for parity in college football

The great thing is if they see it they can transfer. They see the lifestyle and flock to it. It’s up to them to take the glasses off and see it for what it is or isn’t

Yeah exactly how I feel. So what…the guy should’ve just went to Florida or Miami because their coaches are great at coaching? Better at coaching that deion? No one knows yet. But, the past 2 #1 overall CBs have went to play for deion and I understand why. Now will it work out for them? Who knows. But if not, would it have worked out better for them somewhere else? No way of knowing. But I understand why they’d want to learn from the best CB of all time as opposed to other coaching staffs.

Someone needs to ask a Wiltfong type person...(unfortunately he sounds very skewed to because he has to maintain relationships for his business)..did coaches at JSU develop high school athletes into better players or did JSU have an elite level of talent verse their competition. Is it more Harry Hiestand, Larry Johnson and Kirby Smart with kids at high level making them elite NFL players or is it Jimbo Fisher, Willie Taggart and Butch Jones who get high level players only to make them sub par NFL talent.
