‘23 FL CB Cormani McClain (Colorado Commit)

I can’t wait till these high profile players realize a coach can’t teach natural ability and speed and that they’re passing up opportunities to play for legitimate programs in favor of a used car salesmen that happened to be a HOF player. I know Miami sucks, but this kid along with Travis Hunter and Dylan Edwards could’ve went anywhere

Why?

What has Deion done wrong to you?

This kid was going to Miami. Now Colorado. Literally has ZERO impact on Tennessee

Deion isn't screwing little boys, or getting caught with a mistress. He's just being a coach.

Deion is going to kill it out there. Then get another big job hopefully not in the SEC

Don't see him being a big x and os guy.
I Could be wrong.

But he can get talent out there at Boulder and having them winning big, vs being the SEC, still getting talent but having to actually coach above average because the "average" SEC team is as talented as most conferences upper echelon teams.

I'm not sold on Deion as a head coach just yet, but if there's one position that he CAN develop, it's CB.

I am looking forward to the first few instances when some of his high profile recruits flash some cockiness in his and his coaches faces inspired by watching his game tapes and TV appearances. Especially with the portal in play if they feel he employs a double standard in dealing with them. It will be interesting to see if some DB just use his program to posture for better programs through the recruiting process or the portal. Unquestionably a tremendous athlete, but can you provide me even a short list of HC that performed at the top of both the NCAA and NFL and then excelled at HC? Loved watching him until the whistle, after that not so much. How those expressed attitudes, like at his presser, play out with roster management after his massive cleanout efforts will be out there for all to see. Quite a range of possibilities. Will a Lane Kiffin ego on steroids translate in D1? Will be interesting to compare and contrast his methodologies and success trends with his insurance ad partner down the road. Tough gig, but like it our not, it is definitely in play.

Anytime you guys see individuals that act a certain way that you wouldn’t agree with you guys label them with ridiculous terms. Based off this video what would make u consider them “clout chasers”
Look at both of their Twitter accounts. I'm not sure if "clout chaser" is an accurate term or not, but I could think of a few more adjectives that would fit without question.

He's more of a Johns and Joes guy.

I was attempting to be sarcastic because that is what they were referred to as earlier, but after reading it again it didn’t come across as I wanted it to.

Spurrier. Harbaugh was pretty good in college, not sure about nfl. Heupel, cristobal didnt really have pro careers. I am sure there are some others.

The issue isnt that it cant be done it's just that you are adding more and more categories that an individual would have to excel at to be included. But even if you arent on that list doesnt mean much among anything.

I mean Fulmer wasn’t either. Hell I don’t think Dabo is either.

How the hell do you know he can develop a CB? Has he done it yet?
You mad bro? Deion has been working with young DBs for years. Long before he got the job at JSU. He was doing this from players the ages of youth football through college kids. Do some research yourself before you ask how the hell someone knows something. You may not like Deion as a person, but he wasn't one of the greatest cover corners ever purely on athletic ability alone. He was a student of the game and knows the nuances of the position well. The questions about him are as a head coach at a major program. Very few informed people question his ability as a position coach.

I LOVE it 😍 😎 😂

The reason that it made sense to HOPE Deion failed @ an HBCU is different than the reason to hope he fails @ Colorado. They are both equally disturbing, but differing indeed.

Have any names and relationships where he advanced some careers? Knowing how to do it with superior God given athletic ability and teaching it to other less gifted players are two different things. Got any meat for those assumption bones? But he did the Peyton Eli deal the other night and shared where he got schemed a lot and admitted he pretty much had to stick to man to man. When you got one like him you can give help to the other side and survive or even excel. He did not require assistance to overcome natural abilities limitations and can't teach it either. The Mannings have their camps, but choose their talent and do not transform guys, just grade and assist them in using their tools. Telling kids to go through their progressions and use good footwork is good advice, but they either have the ability or do not.
