Can you elaborate why you believe that?
Sure...
IMO he is a nickel at the next level. He has potential to be a big factor on special teams. He returns kickoffs, punts, blocks punts. He plays the run well, and is an instinctive tackler. He plays aggressively in coverage and when tackling, which is a must at the nickel. He is also 10.7 100M track guy.
His biggest downside is his size.
This is how I would rank our current class in Tiers:
5*
- Lewis
- Brooks
High 4*
- Tiyon Evans
- Salter
- Willis
- Brown
- Marley
- Rucker
- McGee
- Wolfe
- Campbell
Mid/Low 4*
- Katron Evans
- Taylor
- Bell
- Smith
- Howard
- Wright
- Merrill
- Washington
High 3*
- Mosley
- Nixon (Not much film due to injuries, could be a legit 4*)
- Jackson (Could be wrong here, hard to tell with him due to his growth over the last year)
Mid 3*
- White (I like his film, but I worry about his speed)
- Jones (Ideal size, but I just don't see lock down corner on film)
Purely my opinion's here...
