The worst is investing valuable energy here at the close of nsd on supreme long shots. Im all for recruiting them all and being relentless but its time to narrow the focus imo.

We are not flipping Crouch and we are not Bailey. Blah blah blah until it is over with Pruitt then it’s over. Not by the insiders on Volnation.
Not personal hit here just same old talk and just had the rage on yours at the time. Sorry!!!

Who else are they gonna focus on? They're already investing as much time as they can with Wright and To'oto'o and probably Chris Russell too. Also spending plenty of time with Pickens. Bogle seems like a lost cause. So who else do you want them to focus on? They have the time, IMO.

Nah I feel you completely. Was thinking the same thing. Newt has a very logical point, just like many of us wanting to settle and call it a good day. Pruitt and this staff won't settle, and that leaves us on the edge of our seats but they are in range of their ceiling. If we set the ceiling, QC wouldn't be here, Trezman and Cain wouldn't have considered; DW would at least visited other places and perhaps leave us in 2nd place; Wanya wouldn't be here, his mom proved that in the VQ video. OP would've never had hope, but we know that was the bagmen; even our coaches tweeting out how shady and dirty that was. I never would have thought a 9-11 recruiting class would be possible coming off 4-8 & 5-7. I trust em

The worst is not trying cause then you never had a chance. Your mantra would have us forfeiting to Bama every year because why bother, right? Gotta be in the fight to win the fight.

I don’t imagine it is much energy wasted. Also, this is what the coaches are paid to do.... so....

I don’t understand the mindset of “well it’s probably not going to happen so why try?” I mean if that was the case we wouldn’t of ever have landed Crouch... so yup, my two cents.

Quit comparing these long shot chasings of committed players to Crouch. Crouch was recruited for a year and we never relented. Not even a similar case.

Lol, you missed the point. The point is you still have to recruit them even if they are a long shot, you can’t just say oh guess what we don’t have a chance. The truth is they are kids and you always have a chance. Stop being so dang senile.

Senile? So what are we recruiting every unsigned kid in the country right now to fill 3 spots? Of course not...its time to narrow the focus and hone in on the ones we have a plausible chance with. You only got room for a few more fish in the boat and time is short where do you go? I go to my honey hole.

Listen i love recruiting as you can see from my post count. I also love swinging big. I just think there is a time and a place. Its very tough to flip a committed kid this late. All im saying.

I don’t disagree with you. But at this stage what if the kid says coach I am going to commit to you and then on signing day chooses someone else? You always have to have the backup. That is what is going on right now in my opinion. It’s not just swinging for the fences for flips.

Heck you never know a guy could tell another school he isn’t going to go there or they could tell him he doesn’t have a spot anymore and then maybe we do etc etc etc.

So the coaches have to continue recruiting this way.

It just doesnt happen. Especially where we are right now.
How do you know it doesn't happen? Situations change, coaches get fired or move on, players get attention from new teams...It doesn't happen until it does. Do you honestly think you know better than the coaches? That's just absurd.

We’ve got our best angler (Nieds), with our kushiest bait, fishing for Wright & To’

Nothing wrong with throwing a few more out there and taking a flyer on some unsigned kids.
I guess it just gets these posters in here all lathered up and then the inevitable happens.

These Florida corners are very good. They have spots.
