I also mentioned Miami's and FSU's to make a point. I'm sorry you didn't get it. This thread may be over your head.

Nope I understand fine, just think you overstate 3 other FBS programs now in FL affecting UF.

Miami is ranked in the coaches' poll. Its only a 3 point spread, and at Miami. This just would not be that much of a surprise.

Not really a home field advantage. Miami will be lucky to have fans at this one and it's only because UF will be there. UF will have more fans there maybe. That stadium blows.

Plus every prized recruit wants to hang out in Boca Raton. Got a good Toojay's there.

If you think Toojay's is good, head up to Boynton Beach and go to Flakowitz.

None-the-less, way to work in Toojay's into the conversation.

The long term health and viability of Miami is still in doubt. I don;t ever see them dominating like they did in the 80's. And probably it would only take one more significant sanctions or even threat of sanctions set-back to doom them to perma-also ran status.

I tend to agree with you but when they sit on that gold mine of a recruiting base all it takes is a coach who is willing to sale his soul a little and stay longer than 5 years.
I think Golden could possibly do it, I was disappointed when the Hammy passed on him and hired that dude with the hair.

Might as well lock down the thread on that note, right there.

Pulling for Miami. Watching Florida lose is great because its one step closer to seeing a full on stroke on the sidelines. Secondly the morose mood of Florida will be priceless. Flags get torn down, bumper stickers ripped off, and thats when the FSU/Canes jerseys come out.

And he would be right in doing so.

Most are talking about UFs D vs. the Canes O.
What about UF's O against the Canes D? I havent heard much about Miami's D and UFs O still has some questions.

Miami's D was vulnerable against the run last season, and UF's offense is about as exciting as a legislative marathon on C-Span.
