Wright still could be added to a Tennessee class that already features four offensive linemen who signed with the Vols during the Early Signing Period.
While Morris, a five-star, remains the headliner of the group and Wright could give them a second five-star offensive tackle, it's worth noting that Tennessee's other newcomer on the offensive line who's already on campus — three-star offensive lineman
Chris Akporoghene — already has shown progress in his first weeks in Knoxville.
The former standout at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., who previously played at The King's Academy in nearby Seymour, Tenn., is a raw but talented prospect who has only a few years of football experience, and his upside already has started to show since he arrived at Tennessee last month.
Sources close to the program said Akporoghene already has made noticeable strides in the weight room, adding 10 to 15 pounds within his first few weeks on campus. He's not believed to be as likely as Morris to make an immediate impact on the field, but his early progress only has added to the optimism that Tennessee's 2019 class could go a long way toward improving the Vols' offensive line.
