In fairness to Butch from a recruiting standpoint, which he doesn’t really deserve, he didn’t really take all that many developmental OL prospects. Tatum and Niehaus are the only undersized ones I can think of. It would have been fine if guys like Blair, Hall, Jones, Boulware, Ryan Johnson, etc had stayed healthy and been coached to their potential. Butch’s inability to coach and develop the players he signed was what got him fired.
