Whatever it is these other coaches are doing to take the same guys? Lol I dunno, man. My post wasn't directed at the staff. More at the fans who been saying the same chit for 15 years with every staff.

I believe we have a great HC and mostly a good staff around him, but everyone is fooling themselves thinking we are going to dominate with a bunch of 3*s. We'll be more fun to watch and be more competitive, but I want to get back to smacking Bama and Ga around.

A couple of things:

1. Ruiz is related to Cristobal, which is why he is willing to go so far to help the recruiting efforts. Understandable.

2. Our composite score on 247 is over a point higher than it finished last year. If we keep improving on that number, then the rebuild stays on track.

I do agree with this. But we can’t expect to compete at the level we want if we can’t recruit the way the teams who are already light years ahead of us are. It’s just a fact that we have to start winning these battles. I’m glad we are in them right now, but we have to start seeing some dominoes fall at some point.

My inlaws lived for years in Hollywood FL two miles from their beaches.....My father inlaw worked as head of internet security of a big bank in downtown Miami...The wife and me spent a lot of time over the years down there....After about 5 days there I'm ready to get the hell out of there and back to Tennessee for various reasons......But yeah, for recruiting a stud young kid Miami would be hard to beat.

We're recruiting at 8 and 9 wins type of level. We won't make that leap until we win these battles. No excuses for losing these battles consistently. You know more than a collective is veing doled out in Miami. They were trash last year.

Something is broken. If we keep missing on these highly rated recruits, we will do well to hold on to the four we have now. Again, Something Is Broken in Knoxville.

One of these days you guys will learn a valuable lesson. Just because something is written, it doesn't make it true. It seems like some of you live and die on every word a recruit tweets. Only two things are certain in this world----death and taxes :cool::cool::cool:

**** Miami, nothing changed down there. It's all show me the money and sadly it's all that is required for these croots and their families to be on board. They're getting swagged out. No way they're doing this a legit way.

NIL is legit you may not like it but he took the bigger bag for his family nothing UT can do about that.
