I'd rather he go to sit behind JG with a busted hand. I don't see the need for him here based on what he has accomplished previously. Much rather they focus on one of the QBs we already have, mostly HB at this point. Maurer would be more fun to watch if he wasn't leading the VOLS, he makes me nervous every time he starts to run with the ball flailing about.

That said, after Guarantano's spring game performance confirming what we already knew... I would be heading there if I were him.

I would love to watch Maurer play but it would be much less stressful if he wasn't wearing Orange when he does it. He is exciting to watch but I feel like I am waiting for disaster every moment when he runs or throws into basically everyone. I do like the gunslinger mentality, I just don't think this team can afford many mistakes from the QB. He is fun to watch just stress-inducing for me.
