Darnell (Wright), Wanya (Morris), Chris (Akporoghene). The pieces they're putting together, they're a few pieces away from being back at that elite level."

I have a hard time believing this one is going to happen. Hope I’m wrong, but it’s hard to believe we get in this so late and pick him up. These decisions are about relationships and trust. I know he may tight with Chris A, but I think the relationships with Penn St or somewhere else win out.

We gave him a lot to think about and it could definitely happen. Just have a hard time believing it will. His mom being here is huge, I will say.

This class is going to be solid and we’ll have some big pickups down the stretch. I’m just concerned this will be a case of “too late in the game.”

Yeah. I think the visit went well. Mama apparently liked it.

Wonder what happens when they get home and let the euphoria wear of a bit... And really talk... That's when relationships get back in the picture.

I think we accomplished the goal tho. They have something to talk about.

I feel better about him today than I did a few days ago, I'll say that.

Oh, I know. That video and the things he says are exactly what you want to hear. But I’ve been following recruiting long enough to know to take the Sunday morning exit interview with a grain of salt. We’re on the same team and want the same thing here. I hope it happens! We have a chance, which is more than I expected 48 hours ago. With 17 year olds, you never know.

I understand. But from his interview we put our best foot forward. He saw that we are signing the best OL class in the country. Very important for a RB. Pruitt told him two things: 1. We want to be a team that runs the ball. 2. He can come here and be the man immediately. Further, his mom was blown away by the visit. Very important. He also has relationships with us with Weinke and Chris A.

We may not land him, but it’s hard to offer more to him than we can right now.

Absolutely! We’ve got a chance. The coaching staff has done a great job and this weekend was best case scenario from all reports. Sounds like we’ll know soon.
