‘23 FL WR Aidan Mizell (Florida commit)

So you are predicting he commits to Florida and then flips to us? I do not see it. Hope you are right. Nil will cut down on flips for the major prospects in my opinion. I would think there would be verbiage in most cases in the Nil contract that tie the recruit to at least the general area the recruit is committed in.
He will commit to us. And then sign with us.

Vol.

Crystal ball from Steve Wiltfong says Florida. I'll put my money on that prediction. Hope he is wrong, but I doubt it.

Wonder if our recent pickup altered the relationship from his or our side. Not sure how many more slots we have at the position or where he would be in the pecking order. Not a clue if he would be considered a hard take regardless.

He’s a take. He’s not going to happen. He never was. Tennessee did about as good a job as they could; it just was never going to happen. Gainesville could be on NCAA sanctions, sinking into the earth and this kid would still be like “yeah that’s where I want to spend my college career”.

Then why waist our time or any other program's resources and time...? SMH

Yeah, I guess we were hanging around in hope Little Billy would slap his mom during a visit. Compare staff time investment with him and say Leacock and Seldon from that room. I always thought we were just doing the politically correct dance with this guy.

With the portal as active as it is now overall relationships are more important than ever… just because you miss on signing day don’t mean you won’t have the opportunity to get that kid down the road… especially kids signing to new coaches who may not be able to do what they say they are… this is the best staff top to bottom that we have had in a long time they know what they are doing.

You put forth the effort just in case. Unless a kid is telling you, I’m going to ____ school, you have to recruit him if there’s a chance.

Alabama just got a RB commit who was considered as big of a lock to Georgia as you could be, when he committed to Bama, it legitimately shocked National pundits

I would love to be shocked.

Sucks this kid was a Florida legacy and no matter what was going to go there.

I don’t care what rankings say, this kid is a 5 star

Nah I'm pretty sure it was fairly evenly split on the Mauigoa predictions leading up to the commitment[/QUOTE

Most reliable reads 72 hours before his commitment favored UM over the VOLS, unfortunately. TN will be fine without him. Heupel will have TN at 9-3 +/- 1 after the bowl gave this season.

If Hooker takes another step forward we log 10 wins for the first time since 2007/2004
