'22 FL WR CJ Smith (Georgia commit)

No. You won’t. They wouldn’t play this year. Just like Andison Colby, Walker Merrill, or the Jimmy’s didn’t.

Maybe one or two would. But not 5.

Utilize the tight ends more. Engage the RBs more. We literally played the last ten games with 3 receivers gettinf 95% of the snaps and we were electric.

You guys are forgetting we have horrid depth at linebacker - guys who can’t tackle in space. Or that we basically have one pass rusher. Or that our safeties can’t cover ground. Or that it looks like Dayne Davis might have the best chance to start at tackle currently.

This ain’t Madden.
Is it possible that in light of the past decade of doom and the one season with this new offense that the program is most appealing to offensive skill players? Still might be really hard to get top recruits at the other positions you rightfully pointed out.

Just because you can - doesn’t mean you should.

And we’re not going to.

I’ve stated my case as intelligently as I can. We’ll see on signing day what happens. 5 true freshman receivers won’t be what we end up with. Bookmark if you want.

Agree to disagree. Goodnight
Idk why everyone is getting mad at this take. Smith is visiting UGA this weekend, and also has a Bama visit lined up. He’s likely not signing until February. Taking more HS receivers than linemen is Butch Jones type recruiting no matter what your team needs are

He’s visiting UGA unofficially during this week and and gonna try to go to aTm this weekend per his airport interview. When has Bama been mentioned? He also said in his decommit tweet that he still plans to sign early. He transferred to a different high school so he could be a EE.

Boosters leaving hate voicemails not a dumpster fire?
Listen, I'm not saying everything is peaches and cream in Athens right now, but there are 100+ football programs out there who would trade some angry phone calls from a couple rich a**hole donors for a #3 ranking and an upcoming spot in the CFB Playoffs.

Of all people, Tennessee fans should understand what a dumpster fire truly looks like.

One of my buddies that works at UGA said its a dumpster fire after the SEC championship game.

Texas A&M is a cult so don't drink the punch..
That is all perspective....UGA dumpster fire doesn't hold a candle to our historical dumpster fires....

Just glad that we ***appear*** to be back on the right track.

Sounding like he may not be that high on our board and, as of this point, may not be a take. There are injury concerns that may be a factor into that decision.

Hard to imagine a kid with this size and speed wouldn't be a take, but it's sounding more and more that way.

You need to be checking your voice-mail, you have emails, your Amazon package has shipped, something you've been watching on ebay is almost up. I have no idea what you've been downloading. Better get after it.
Just something I ran across. Seemed to be in the ballpark, but no idea of its accuracy. If it don't suit ya, don't play....

Maybe CJ really does love UT. Maybe he really wants to come here. Maybe mama really hopes he gets a committable offer to play here. But that may not be the case. Florida didn't seem to want him. I'm not convinced that we really want him over others. And it may be the reason he's still taking more visits and potentially letting his recruitment play out until February.
