'22 FL WR CJ Smith (Georgia commit)

He may not have said it, but at UCF the entire WR group got a lot of run. 5 and 6 guys not including Juice Anderson. (So make that 7 guys)

After the Florida game We pretty much ran the same 4 guys out there every meaningful series.
I would definitely follow those hints
Seriously? After what he did with Tillman, Payton, and even Jones this season? They told reporters what they were doing. They reduced the rotation.

Calloway and Keyton are both talented guys who can be developed. Merrill is Fr and has the opportunity to become a very good WR. I am concerned about Hyatt's inconsistent hands but he appeared to be the 4th guy anyway.

Not as sure what they can do with Holiday or Coby.

You guys are ready to believe a guy who talks out his rear often... and make a mistake that is made repeatedly on this board. A guy takes a year or two to develop and they're labeled a bust... but some unproven, underdeveloped HS player is so talented they'll come in and star? That's what you're proposing. It has happened every year since I joined this board. I'll confess. I've done it... and been wrong and learned from the error.

Basilio is dismissing Hyatt, Keyton, and Calloway in particular... they once WERE those guys who were going to come in, play right away, and make the WR corps great. Holiday too for that matter. The talent is still there and they'll have a full year in the system.

FWIW, we ALL better hope Basilio is wrong... it will be a very long season if those guys cannot step up and fill the voids left by Jones and Payton... and maybe Tillman.

Because in their mind Florida has beaten TN 16 out of 17 years and they think Florida has a quicker path to relevancy. We have to show them otherwise.
Very simpleton way of looking at a comparison between two programs. Since these are completely different staffs and have nothing to do with that record. Of course then again these are 17-18 year old kids.

Yeah it would make no sense. Hyatt is going to get opportunities here. He just has to work on his hands and catch the ball. Transferring doesn’t fix inability to catch the ball.
Another off season (with buy in) for the returning players with this staff (that can obviously develop) is going to be amazing to see. Some players we’ve seen this year will be nearly unrecognizable I will bet.

I think just having Hooker in there with the wide receivers and working on timing and everything will help as well. The offense should get better IMO next year.

His hands aren't the problem. It's concentration. He had zero drops the second half of the season, but seemed to be unaware of where he was in relation to the sideline. I'm sure he will put it all together in the off season. He just needs to get stronger in order to beat press coverage.

Yeah I haven’t felt this good about an upcoming season since 2016. That season was a disappointment, I don’t think this upcoming season will be.
