'20 FL WR Malachi Wideman (Tennessee signee)

Yes, but the article did not even mention Gibbs, but did talk about Velus Jones, Brandon Johnson, and others.
Ok? I guess you could throw him in there as a possible contributor, but obviously he is far from a known commodity at the college level at WR at this point. He's an incoming 3* transfer and will have a chance to gain playing time. Based off scout practice reports (I know, I know "practice reports") I'm pretty optimistic on him myself.

I did and saw it live. When Maggit injured himself celebrating against Oklahoma. When he left that game, Mayfield took over.
Yeah I remember that! Me and my then girlfriend now wife were there for her first game & it totally changed that defense when he went out. Deflated isn’t the word that’d describe it

Just when I think I figured out who our best WR will be from this class, I keep thinking to myself, “Well, we have Wideman, Calloway, Beckwith, and Hyatt.” You can’t pick one.
I think all of these dudes will have great careers and be pro players.

Edit: no I’m not being bias, because honestly, I think most of this class will play on Sunday’s.
I'm still waiting for another freak athlete to come along and up seat CP as my favorite Vol to watch. Jennings is a favorite for his physicality, but there's nothing like the dude that can break the game. Good news is I really think we might've found one maybe two in this class. Can't wait to see these guys come 2021 with Bailey tossin' them the tater.

If we have ever get another WR that’s 6’1, 230 and moves like CP did, every home game better be sold out just for him.

Bruh, Gibbs was a 5* coming out of high school.

CP is 6'4, 6'3, at the least and his performance in one year at UT, is legendary, imo. I went to the Troy game, which was one of the most exciting games (offensively), I've ever seen at Neyland. Yeah, it was a disappointing showing, considering that my beloved Vols struggled against a huge underdog, but still a fun game to watch live, if u enjoy offense. I think Justin Hunter ended up with a little better stats than CP that day, but everytime CP touched the ball u could feel the electricity and anticipation in the stadium, like I have only felt a couple of times before with Willie Gault and Carl Pickens. 3 players that everytime they touched the ball there was a chance that they could house it.

Keep hearing about Velus Jones being a return specialist...would be nice if he was CP 2.0

4* composite iirc. But that is why I said 3* transfer. He was reranked when transferring.

Most "5* transfers" (5* out of HS) have shown to be not so much a 5*, thus the transfer. Rerankings are more accurate since they have more information to go off of. Think of Richmond (high 4), Solomon, all these "5*" guys incoming to UF right now.

Cade Mays is the rare exception that has played up to his 5* HS ranking and is transferring. The others (non-QBs) really have no reason to transfer if they actually lived up to being 5*s.

Who does these “rerankings” and where can we look them up?

247 did them last cycle. I have yet to see them do it for this cycle's transfers. Maybe they gave up with so many tranfers. Idk

They're the only service I have seen track the portal/transfers. They did have a plan to make a class ranking that included transfers too...but that appears to be on the backburner as well.

Like an ARTICLE they posted...or an official ranking? If it’s only one service, I wouldn’t consider it official. Those eggheads should only get one shot of pretending they have authority on kids talent. If they GUESSED wrong the first time? Maybe they should call it a day.
