You must not have been keeping up with UT football the last 3-4 years... newsflash, we've been in the ditch, at the bottom, not making bowl games, but you think we are all of a sudden going to magically (with fairy dust) make/get top tier kids to come to our program over other more successful, established programs right now? It's been incredible what Pruitt has done so far, and it will only get better if we continue to improve on the field with W's.... you are seeing the national media take notice and agree not to sleep on us, that we are turning the corner and on the rise... that is why more and more kids are taking a chance on us... if we get at least 8-9 wins this season, with this staff having 2-3+ years under their belt, don't be surprised to start seeing some 5* and a lot of 4* start coming our way. We will still not drop to the straight cash$$ level of the GA and AU in terms of cheating, but I don't think we will necessarily need to...

We are gaining momentum, coaches are leaving and switching, Ole Miss has not been an issue in a while, then all of a sudden here comes Joey Freshwater trying to poach anyone and everyone and we all know AT ALL COSTS

I said before--- we have 3-4 times more to offer at this point than Ole Miss, so unless it is just true love, there will be another rea$$on he chooses Ole Miss...

ole miss facilities aren't even close to more than half of the current SEC facilities... who is their QB, what is their WR situation, and how does the O line look? Smells like Joey RottenWater, not Freshwater.

We had our shot. Getting beat on the recruiting trail by another elite recruiter isn’t the end of the world. At some point we have to land these kids. Jeremy Pruitt knows this.

yeah I agree but it's hard when he doesn't have even half of what we are selling, except the below board BS... and why don't recruits know and see his past? They gotta know it's only a matter of time before he gets caught again and they could be in the middle of it...

He has a lot to sell. He’s a fantastic offensive mind. He probably threw on some AL game film and sold it hard to him. If I’m a WR, playing for Lane Kiffin would be an attractive option. Regardless, if we land Beckwith I’ll be thrilled.

It’s not over yet but seems like he’s trending away from TN. A couple things I’d like to see this staff get better at is securing the last visit of top recruits and getting recruits to shut it down after committing. It’s the weekend before signing day & no top 2020 prospects in town (that I know of). It’s not like we are completely full. Maybe staff tried to get Weidman & Beckwith in for the last visit but couldn’t...Regardless, where things are at right now overall with TN Football recruiting seems the most positive they've been in several years.

Hopefully we will have a better season next year, don’t get beat by Charlotte, be competitive in games against Okla., bama, Georgia, Fla., Heck maybe beat someone of importance. Do not lose to the other bottom feeders, ie Vandy, ky., SCe., Arkansas. Then just maybe if our coaches can improve our recruiting to top 10 level, and out recruit ole miss.

Go bang a few hot Ole Miss girls over the weekend, then tomorrow you gotta think “Hmm, I actually want a good QB throwing to me.” Then decide between Ole Miss, FSU and UT based on what your future QB looks like. It’s business. Harrison Bailey can get you to the League. John Ryce Plumley or Matt Corral won’t.

I’m not tapping out on any of them. There’s been no information that would suggest what some of these chicken littles are suggesting. Glad the coaches don’t share this sad mentality that I constantly see on these boards.
