We are not in the same boat as those other programs due to the way Butch botched this program with his personal vendetta. Our staff is not focused on star players at this point but trying to solidify a SEC roster so we can go get star players. We have already started beating the teams that we are supposed to beat. The next step is taking out the teams at the next level.

must mean he has already signed a letter of admission with the school if possible. Don't put it past Lane.....

The only exception to the dead period rule occurs if an athlete has already signed an NLI or a written offer of admission, fully committing them to that school. After an athlete signs acceptance offer or an NLI they are free to go on an unofficial visit to their new school to get better acquainted with the team and facilities.

Not sure if this is true but there are enough experts here to verify......

Pretty sure he cannot have contact with the Ole Miss coaches after 12 midnight on Sunday. He could still stay at his hotel Sunday night and leave Monday morning, but personal contact with coaches would be a violation. Otherwise all coaches would be trying to get all the recruits to come in on Sunday before signing day and stay till Tuesday.
