In typical Florida fashion they get very fortunate in this game.

Rising is out and Keuethe (who shredded them to the tune of 105 yards last year) is out.

Additionally they will face a third string QB because their QB was live in camp and got blasted.

Who makes their QB live in camp, and what dumbass blasts their own QB?!

“They’re tougher at the line of scrimmage. They can run the ball, they can play defense, and that’s a tough place to play. They’ve got to take care of business against Florida.”

“The Pac 12 desperately needs them to take care of business against Florida,” Klatt said. “This is a game that will resonate throughout the rest of the season in terms of how we view not only Utah but the rest of the Pac-12.

I hope the 2017 Florida team shows up for the game on Thursday. I fondly remember their opener against Michigan that year- what a cluster freak. I also remember that we should have beaten them in the Gainesville that year.

Game is at Utah, I think Florida will struggle to score points as well. Mertz is what he is.. and that's not very good. Utah in an ugly, close win

Utah playing their 3rd string QB without their top receiving option. I think they struggle

Still think fans of SEC teams rooting against other SEC teams in non conference games is short-sighted.
I like you more than most here LG, but that’s just dumb logic. Why would I ever cheer for you guys unless you were playing B***?

Because UF beating a ranked opponent and P5 conference favorite on the road helps UT’s strength of schedule, which becomes even more important with a 12-team playoff on the horizon.

You‘re confusing logic with emotion.

I’ll never root for Florida but it doesn’t matter if you win or lose to me tomorrow. All I care about is that you lose to us

Nahhh....I'd rather Florida get boatraced and utterly embarassed. Need the pressure turned up for the Tennessee game. UF Fans may not show up as strong or get a bit ancy if they fall behind to UT. Rather UF be in shambles than some strength of schedule tiebreaker..

If the sec needed help in that department, you’d be on to something

One of those rare years where I have absolutely no idea what to expect from a Florida team. New QB, new starters all over the place in the front 7 on defense, something like 50 new players on the team. I have no feel at all.

There are some known products on Florida’s team; the two RB’s Montrell Johnson and Etienne, WR Pearsall is a baller, CB Jason Marshall is probably a 1st rounder, a couple of the DT transfers are monsters.

But does that translate to a better than expected team - I have no idea. We should see some answers beginning tonight.

Resonating win for the PAC-12 is kind of like pulling for the Ottoman Empire at the Winter Olympics.

I used to pull for SEC teams when playing OOC and bowls. Now it depends on the program. UGA, Bama, and UF, Aub are Big-time No's for ever wanting them to win. I won't smile if Ole Miss wins until Kiffin leaves.

I will pull for rivals against Mich or tOSU. I just hate those smug groups.
SEC is only great when we are great.
