Offense is way better than last years, but it is a lot of screens. Not really vertical.

Better job of getting players the ball in space and utilizing Demps and Rainey.

D front 7 is really good. DTs are amazing. Run stuffers and QB hounds. That is the strength of this team.

UF is not going to be a push over - they can play D and can score.

They aren't close to what they once were, but much improved. Weis is making a big impact and playing his style of offense is going to serve them well.

we lookin real good especially with out sharrif who should be back soon i hope atleast

offense is leaps and flights ahlead of dazzio i think wies/muschamp/quinn could workout great might sould homer but w/e

this one game shows me playcalling is WAY better

Florida is by far better this year than last year, in all phases of the game.

They didn't show too much on offense today, as far as a vertical passing game, but when they did go vertical it was efficient and effective.

The OL looks good, the DL looks beastly, and if Floyd comes back, wow, the defense could be nasty. Secondary is aggressive, but is the weakest unit of the D obviously.

Florida will not be an easy out for anyone this year, and after the games tonight, looks like a legit east contender, maybe even the best team in the east.

FLA should have been in everyones top 2 from the start. If they didn't they are dumb and naive.

Beating FAU doesn't change anything.

I still have FLA behind USCjr, just like 6 months ago.

At least y'all didn't pull a UK or AUB tho.

And you believe all this after ONE game....Seriously? :eek:lol: It was FAU....Not LSU...Not a lower level SEC team it was FAU..A mid level Sun belt conference team..Play somebody and THEN give us your option about how great you THINK your team is.

Cassel wasn't a pro bowler, Bowe & Charles were beasts before Weiss got there, and Thomas Jones rushed for over 1,000 yards the year before fatty got there splitting time with the Jets. Nice try though.

Last year, Florida played Miami Ohio and almost lost, getting outgained and only having 212 yards of offense, while looking like a poorly coached HS team.

Bottom line - Florida looked way better coached, more effective and efficient, and the defense looked dominant and tough.

I'm not declaring Florida champs or anything, but the east looks a hell of a lot more winnable than it did 6 months ago.

To say Florida didn't look a ton better than last year would just indicate that you either A) don't know what you're talking about or B) are hating.

not really, they were good but they had their breakout yr last yr under charlie and i said jones made his name before he got to the chiefs

Wow...So you want me to tell you all about how great your team is after beating FAU?....Let me repeat that again....FAU...They looked good BECAUSE you beat up on what is more or less a glorified high school team....And nothing more....You don't see us proclaiming UT as a east contender after beating Montana and We were without doubt more impressive than UF....But then again as one of my gator friends at work said today, "UF's fanbase is the most delusional in college sports"....And he's right...You are just a great example of that quote :salute:
