Florida/Auburn Reaction (Merged)

You guys may have lost, but at least you can say you made LIO whiff in an attempt to correct grammar.
Always a moral victory.

You guys that thought that was an incomplete pass . . .what did you see to make you think it was a throw?
I think it was a bad call. That said, Florida still lost it on their own.

Take Georgia, last week, for example. :p
Or Georgia today, for example.

Hate to rub salt in a wound, but this game was just as I predicted last Sat. night on the board. Auburn "took it on the chops" last week and Fla was in "cruise control" - an upset in the making usually. But, hey, what do I know-I'm a girl! Anyway, I am glad they got a good beating, even if we weren't the ones to administer it!!!!!!!!!

The way Florida and Auburn were playing... the game could've gone either way. Auburn made the key plays down the stretch, therefore they came out with the narrow victory.

I have no hope that Georgia will beat Florida. Personally I'm hoping that Spurrier goes into the swamp and works some demonic mojo and gets a win. Rooting for Spurrier though. . . it chills my blood.

Personally I think we should just worry about our next few games and let fate handle the other teams. It not inconcievable that the Gators still win the East and loses badly against Auburn again in the SECCG. If UT can just win out we will get a serious/possible BCS bowl. Perhaps against the loser of the OSU/Michigan Game. Or even better Cal take 2.

It was a great game to watch... But I walk away from it thinking this:

Auburn: "Here, we like blowing games. We'll let you score a touchdown."
Florida: "Oh no, please. We can suck quite a bit down the stretch on our own. Watch this." [turnover]

If we could have simply finished in the black in rushing, we would have easily had the Gators.

Watch the replay, Leak was still holding the ball past the point of release... then he just lost his grip and dropped it.

I'm afraid you're wrong good sir. He was attempting to toss it to our TE right in front of him. His arm was moving forward when the ball came out.

Whoever he was going to throw to, Leak changed his mind and tried to hold onto the ball. He lost the handle and Auburn recovered it. Auburn wins 27-17. Case closed.

Are you a mindreader?
Leak even said himself he was trying to sling it to Casey...but you're right, we lost - but that doesn't change the fact that a bad call was made.

Well, if Leak said it then I'm taking that to the bank. :eek:k:

Of course he said that. What else is he going to say? "Yeah, I don't know what I was doing. I was going to throw, but then I changed my mind and lost the handle. I'm an idiot. Tim Tebow should start."

Give me a break.

Even though I agree with you, it's a moot point, Leak blew the game.
