Florida curse has been broken

I mean Bama scored 27 points today and USCe scored 25. There'd be something wrong if the team with 25 won the game. So by scoring 27, the team that should have won did in fact win because they scored more points. So Alabama should not have lost today.
I watched the entire game. South Carolina was ahead in the 4th quarter and they fumbled the 🏈 without any disruption from the defense. Yes Bama won, but they were far from convincing and barely escaped. I say that to say Bama doesn’t scare me.

It hasn't been broken. Far from it. But I'm glad we won. Just wish we didn't suck so much on offense. Write Sampson down as one of the all time Vol favorites. Dude is gritty.

He put this team on his back tonight.

"Replace went to ot with lost ..."

What does that mean?

Until we feel off 19 of the next 21 or so, the FLA curse isn’t broken.

I don't agree any curse is broken. We shat out a win last night by blind luck and the heroism of a few players. The curse though is that no matter what, win or lose, Tennessee always plays its absolute worst game against Florida. That was on full display last night. Good Lord that was a pitiful performance, especially by our inept O Line. What happened to them? And Nico couldn't see wide open receivers, and when he did he straight up missed them. Tell me again about the 2 million someone is paying compared to Arkansas and that true freshman who got tossed in the lions' den last week and figured us out in 3 series for the win.

Seems like everyone has their own version of what constitutes a broken curse. Like you're making it up as you go. Maybe you're making up "the curse" too.

There is no curse.
And Kentucky doesn’t have one when playing us either

There is no doubt we have issues and I am worried about the Bama game, but considering my entire life has been filled with losing to Florida I'll hold the worries until next week. I think we saw a lot of positives too. Nico came out strong until the fumble. Once we started rolling him more limiting his reads and the amount of field he had to survey he seemed to calm down a little. I think as long as we continue to keep him out of the pocket and let him "free flow" a little his confidence will continue to build. Right now it is all mental for him. The raw talent is there we just have to keep pushing and helping him grow.
I agree with you

In the past, when a FL qb goes down, by the end of the game, the backup is in the Heisman conversation. So that curse has lifted.

After almost 40 years of Vol fandom , following the SEC across multiple sports & visiting close to half of the opposing fan bases stadiums I have come to the conclusion that I hate one fan base above all others . That fan base is Tennessee .

They never see it that way. Things always seem to happen "off camera" according to my gator friends and colleagues. 🙄 I feel bad for Mertz. Hell of a player given the circumstances.
One of them actually texted me and was like, " Y'all are on the business of taking out quarterbacks." I'm like, "He never got touched. Looks like a ACL or something, but he never got hit. 🤷🏼" He still didn't believe me. I text him after the replay and he didn't text me back of course.

Except they showed it on tv so unless they didn’t watch or they’re blind they’ll know he skipped after his TD and snapped his ACL or something by getting caught in the grass 15 ft from anyone in pads.

Neyland won that game. Nico is not very good and Josh had another bad game. Nico is just not very good right now and I don’t know how high is ceiling is.
I don't know what others thought, but it felt loud in that 2nd half to me.
