Florida Fan Delusion

Why in the name of CFB are Florida fans members of VolNation? Why do they login and post, here? Do they not find their own kind good company on the UF boards?

UF fans lack the mental capability to create such a great message board like Freak has done for us. So they just lurk around here and troll uninhibited. Its actually sad and pathetic.

Your attitude is what's sad and pathetic. The fact you get this pissy over other fans posting here, some of which are respected posters, is about as childish as you can get.

Grow up.

Opinion noted. I dont care if they are respected posters. My opinion is they are trolls. Yours is they are not. We all have opinions. The fact that mine bothers you is childish.

Grow up.

The fact that so-called trolls bother you this much makes you look like the true child.

Foley waited to late to make a decision on the game. Should have scheduled the game for Sunday or Monday. So UF "getting screwed" is on their own AD imo. As is, they lose one home game. LSU agreed to switch hosting this year's game with hosting next year's game. So next year, LSU will be a home game for the Gators. Ultimately, that helps them, so they don't "get the short end of the stick".

The Tennessee take on this, it had to happen. UF didn't deserve to win the East without playing a full compliment of SEC games. Honestly, it almost seems like that was what Foley was attempting to accomplish.

There were posters hailing the "Opportunity is Nowhere" door as a work of genius. Delusion knows no team affiliation.

Every team has delusional fans. That's a fact. One fan base is no more delusional than another. Except maybe Bama. They got some bat**** crazy fans that poison trees.

Honestly, it almost seemed like Foley was concerned about 53 scholarship players whose families were in the projected path of a Category 4 hurricane.

The fact that there were Vol fans on this site defending Derek Dooley well into his 3rd year (you know who you are) tells me I should not believe Florida fans are any more delusional than the rest of the SEC.

How bad was that storm in Gainesville again? Probably blew over a few deck chairs.

The game could have been easily rescheduled to Sunday or Monday. Foley chose not to take that approach, making it harder on the entire SEC in the process. He left no options available for a make-up game until the SEC stepped in to force a buy out. IMO, if a team doesn't want to play a make-up game, they should have to forfeit the opportunity to compete for the conference championship. Why didn't Foley make that offer? He was trying to game the situation. He made a choice involving the game without SEC approval claiming it was a UF situation. Then he turned around and was more than willing to let UF win the SEC on a technicality.

Foley is not a dumb man. He had to know a make-up game would be demanded.

Must not have been concerned about the families of the women's volleyball team. Because they went on the road, to South Carolina no less, to play on Sunday. Congrats on that 3-0 win, by the way.
