Does anybody know the order of selection for the games?
ie 1st CBS 3:30

CBS selects which game they want first. The rest are all on ESPN (ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECNETWORK) family of networks, so its all up to ESPN on which games they think should be at which times. I'm sure they talk with the SEC about it as well.

In that case it will be noon.

ESPN hates us

Broadcast Predictions:

Bama-Ole Miss (CBS 3:30)
LSU-Auburn (ESPN 7:45)
A&M-Miss St (SECN 7:00)
Florida-UT (ESPN 12:00)
Vandy-UGA (SECN 12:00)
SC-UK (SECN 3:30)

All times eastern. It sucks but the A&M-State game probably jumps our game now.

I'll be there and I'm hoping for a noon game. I usually get up early anyway and this gives me a reason to start drinking early. Fishing, golfing, and tailgating are acceptable reasons to crack a beer at 8AM.

God no, please don't let this game be a noon game. This game should be under the lights of Neyland with 102k screaming fans instead of 102k miserable fans complaining about how hot it is.

A noon game is an atmosphere killer, especially early in the season.

South Carolina game was one of our best atmospheres last year, also a game we won. It was a noon kickoff.

If the Vols show up against Georgia, Neyland will be rocking against Florida, regardless of time.

Anybody know where you can buy some gator to deep fry? Gator and Eggs if its a noon game though!

Bama-Ole Miss (CBS 3:30)
LSU-Auburn (ESPN 7:45)
A&M-Miss St (SECN 7:00)
Florida-UT (ESPN 12:00)
Vandy-UGA (SECN 12:00)
SC-UK (SECN 3:30)

All times eastern. It sucks but the A&M-State game probably jumps our game now.

Bama - Ole Miss could be on ABC. A much higher profile game at the prime time slot.

All the noon games will be a mix of ACC and SEC on SECN, ESPN3, ABC, etc..

Vandy-GA, SC - UK, Ohio St. - Maryland, VTech - NC,

I think ESPN will take the Auburn vs LSU game for their noon game.

After those games, it will be a battle between CBS and ESPN2 for us. FOX doesn't play SEC games.

ESPN2 will most likely take a shot at taking the SMU vs East Carolina OR the Oklahoma vs TCU game. Most likely FOX takes the Oklahoma game though...

CBS has always favored the SEC, so they take the Tennessee game.

A&M - Miss. St will be the ESPN game at 7:00.

I will never understand the rationale of wanting late games so you have time to get so wasted you don't even remember the game.

I'm not sure that's contracturally possible. I didn't think ABC could show an all-SEC game.

SEC should create a new mandate: No noon kickoffs.

Also, they should stagger the games better:

1pm ESPN
2PM SECN
3pm ESPN2
330pm CBS
6pm SECN
7pm ESPN2
8pm ESPN

At least for me, I live in the West Side of America.... I'd take any time but the noon games... (9 am!)..ugh! My entire day is destroyed when we lose.

Yeah, I think you are right. ABC can show all-ACC not all-SEC.

Then I think the bama game goes at 7pm and TxAM goes at noon on SECN... and the Vandy get ESPNU or something like that.

I forgot about ABC not being able to show SEC vs SEC...it's not looking good for us to get a late game...

Don't overlook the possibility of an A&M vs Miss St game as the ABC game of the week. A&M top 10 and Miss State at 14 now, is a very good matchup. I'm not sure what other matchups would warrant a spot there, so maybe not.

Why can't they show all-SEC matchups? ABC and ESPN are the same, so wouldn't they be able to? I haven't heard that rule before.

Something to do with CBS being only major network for sec matchups. Deerpark knows the details
