It really is ok to laugh when your rival loses to inferior competition guys. Don't feel sorry for Florida, if the tables were turned I'm sure they wouldn't be patting us on the knee and saying there there it will be ok, at least you beat us.

Is this some sort of standard comeback you guys have made up to make losing to this team feel better?

Or do you not get the implication of the amount of bad luck we must have to have lost to this pathetic UF team at apparently the ONE point of the season they were good?

And by the way, have you seen us lately? I wouldn't bank that we'd still beat them if we played now. If you think it would be a definite win, you're clearly giving the Vols too much credit.

i say hire james franklin lol i know you guys hate him think he sucks what ever but theres not alot of coaches out there we can get right now and he's really done a good job with vandy and he's already in the sec east he's young and his players always play hard for him it just makes sense to me

plus his teams seem to play solid offense and defense not just one or the other

If the fruit is hanging low enough, Franklin will grab it every time, which is more than any other Vandy coach has done in many decades. He's making a career out of capitalizing when other programs are down.

sc, uf, & uga were all pretty damn strong last yr when he won 9 games

18-6 the last 2 yrs at freakin vandy man that is impressive

i will agree he's taking advantage this yr tho the uf and uga arent anything special but he seems to consistently field a good team that competes with uga/sc/uf

Except he lost to all of those programs last year.
The 9 wins in 2012: Presbyterian, Missouri w/o their James Franklin, Auburn while they went 0-8 in the SEC, UMass, UK while they went 0-8 in the SEC, Ole Miss before Freeze's big class arrived, UT after Dooley lost the team, Wake Forest, and an NCSU team that Dooley beat.

Low hanging fruit.

What he's done at Vandy has been very impressive. But, it's still a career that's been based on capitalizing on other programs' down times.
I'm still getting used to the idea of Vandy consistently capitalizing on anything.

He has beaten 3 teams with a winning record in 3 years. Why is everyone swinging on his nuts? Hire the clown.
