I would like to see teams get physical with Teabag. He may or may not be able to take a lot of hits.

Florida always has trouble with those teams from Mississippi. They might have some Kryptonite there.

This is the Florida team our Vols gave up against.

I'll be rooting for the vols to win tonight but if we lose i'll be comforted by the fact that a loss should speed up CPF's demise.:frown:

I always cheer for a win. I never want to see my team lose. I think I am just numb now. I don't know what to think. I feel like a toddler lost in the grocery store.

I'm waiting until later in the season if I give up on the team like I've given up on the coaches.

Bear this in mind, the coaches can only get the players there. The only one at this point I would say should be taking full responsibility is Fulmer. Give Chavis and Cutcliffe some time to try to meld together a team of young players. Ainge, I know, is a senior... but he's the only one that has played with any consistency. He doesn't really make any mistakes, besides that one throw in the red zone at Fla.

I haven't given up on the players, nor lost any faith in their desire to gain back the respect of the nation, but especially their fans. I hope.

Maybe I'm just hopelessly trying to stay positive. I hate to see UT down, and being kicked while their down. We do still have a chance to turn the ship around. And that is a realistic goal.

Is it making anyone else want to puke. I'am going to the bathroom now. Man we suck.

:shakehead: i just lost my appetite, but at the same time you gotta give Ole Miss credit though because they are doing the right thing that we couldn't do.

florida never plays well on the road under the urban legend...but they'll find a way to win at the end.

UF's offense looks terrible--how come they didn't play like this last week.

Because a win over UT, to them, means a WHOLE lot more than a win over Ole Miss. Because they were playing at home. The list goes on.

No team can keep up a huge level of intensity through the season. They have some other, much tougher, games. Teams lose focus. They'll probably gain it back in the 2nd half and start to cut open Ole Miss. And putting up almost 250 yards in the first half against giving up barely 140 isn't really playing "like crap". And even though we looked like crap, they're still averaging more per carry than they did, even against us. 6.1 per carry vs. 5.5 against us.

I've said this before, watch the whole game before passing any judgement. Our decent 1st half against them certainly didn't matter after all 60 minutes were played.

He doesn't make any mistakes... nor does he make any plays, as either. It's up to the receivers to get YAC and keep drives alive.

And Cutcliffe has admitted he wasn't aggresive enough with the calls. I can see the logic in a screen to Foster, as he was a beast in the Cal game to tackle. He didn't seem to be physical enough against Fla. Ainge has made some pretty big plays, though. And there is more to it than just throwing the ball long. His poise and composure counts for a lot, especially on the 3rd and longs that he is expected to make a good pass... and he usually does, and into coverage. He isn't getting the credit for it, because he's the one of the only one's out there doing his part. And he hasn't shown any leadership... yet. We'll see if this "players meeting" counts for anything. I know he and Foster need to step up for that offense.

How long is Gerald Jones out for?

Ole Miss starting to look like us when it comes to tackles, they are sitting back waiting on the receiver to come to them instead of attacking.

Last year's national champs don't want to make a statement every game they play? And being away is one thing, being at Ole Miss is another. Not exactly a "harsh" environment.
